  1. Wouldn't mind checking her out. She plays at The Phoenix Concert Theatre. Presale starts this Friday, general onsale Saturday. Looks like about $35 all in.
  2. It sure feels like its been a long time since I've been to Molson Amph. Maybe since Plant & Krauss? They used to be frequent frequent stomping grounds...I wish they still brought in some of the acts they used to. This might just get me back there
  3. Very cool story. I want to go!
  4. My guess is City and Colour. Very, very cool Aaron. That will be an amazing and exciting accomplishment. Stoked for you.
  5. Ha. That made me spit out my tea. I can think of a couple people that could benefit from that standard safety measure
  6. Or whoever the regulator is in this particular case
  7. I'm a non-smoker (wasn't always), and I suppose I support the ban. But I like to light up in my own way at a show when (reasonably) appropriate. I do my best to keep it low key and very low frequency but I'm sure its not always appreciated by others. I don't know... I appreciate the health aspects especially if children are around, but its nice to let loose when seeing the music that you love. I guess for many that includes smoking. Or sitting in lawn chairs. Or sweating profusely. Or singing louder than the performers themselves. Or yelling out not so witty banter... I don't know... Its too bad we have to have the government regulate considerate behaviour.
  8. Has Bonnaroo ever sold out? Its on my radar, but I can't commit just yet...
  9. Just finally picked this show up via DVD and have been working through it over the past couple months. Just about finished season 3 and am happy to hear that there's more to come. Appreciated reading through all of your enthusiasm without any spoilers spoiling
  10. No worries. I was in a surly mood when I responded. I may have beeen looking for a fight I was just having trouble seeing what there was to debate here (generally speaking)
  11. But for me it was '05 and '06. And my call about likely not going back had nothing to do with lack of having a great time. Its just far, and hot, and with a little man it makes it so much tougher now. But. This line-up is quite the carrot.
  12. My divine spiritual guide
  13. It's sad for those who loved that person. We all die. Here's hoping there was at least a moment of calm and quiet just up to the end. Oh for pete's sake. Sorry, I edger personally find it sad when it happens to anyone. Obviously not as much if that person was a key part of my life. Yes, we do all die. I guess a part of me can relate to the sadness of self-destruction and self-loathing. That is not how it ends for everyone. I find that particularly sad when that does occur. Others don't. And that's all fine and dandy. I agree with your last sentiment.
  14. Was waiting for something like this to surface. Yes, yes, yes.
  15. Its a sad thing when it happens to anyone
  16. Happy birthday Jay. Thanks for many a great show.
  17. Yeah the Sheepdogs deserve a nod for sure. I have to admit. Thanks to Sirius Satellite I must say I'm a fan of Adele.
  18. So much fun. Great turnout. That was a big room to fill and I thought it was a perfect density for dancing, mingling, sight lines, etc. Had never seen King Roller before. They were great! Will definitely keep my ear to the ground for them again. Mark your band sounded tight, so fun to see your sentiments come to life! And Diesel Dog? What can I say. I love you guys!! Thanks y'all. A wonderful ride once again.
  19. In for Toronto. I didn't even know about this show...
