Is anyone following all the shit happening in our northern first nations communities? I'm absolutely disgusted by our government. Harper cancels $5 billion in funding to help with proper housing, jobs and medical facilities or personnel. So many communities in the north will suffer under Harper - just wait and see. http://firstnations.com/ A prime example of the neglect happening is a small community called 'Attawapiskat' which has been the main topic of First Nations media recently (but oddly, not making it to non-native news, shame on you CBC). This community has begged for help and yet been ignored by our government. This community is slowly dying due to the terrible living conditions. Our government needs to step it up and help and just throwing money at the problem isn't going be enough.

STMusic is alright, except the page loading problems (sometimes I have to refresh a few times to get it to show). I was told its due to the overload of traffic since the pig shutdown. I dunno how true that is, but I know the guy who gave me my invite apparently had 26 of them a few weeks back and as soon as you join your are given two invites, so it may be traffic.
