  8. Agreed 100%. The one with Mickey Jones "World Tour 1966 - The Home Movies" isn't very good either but at least he was in the band during that tour.
  9. Both songs are covers. Stone Walls And Steel Bars - is a R.Pennington & R.Marcum song which has been covered by alot of people, including the Stanley Brothers. I'm Not Supposed To Care - is a a Gordon Lightfoot tune Bob covered a fair bit during 1997-98 I can set up a sendspace of the audio recording later today for your roommate, if he wants.
  10. This is by far one of my favourite Dylan shows I've attended. This show was a total surprise to me, two days before Dylan played the GM Place with Joni and Van, I was milling around outside GM Place looking to upgrade my ticket (DMB was playin the outdoor venue or something nearby), I asked one scalper and he says "for which Dylan show?" - I was confused, then found out he was playing the night before in a 1000-1500 person venue, called 'The Rage' - needless to say, I bucked up $110 on the spot and bought myself one. I also ended up upgrading to a 12th row floor for GM place, straight up trade since I bought the Rage ticket and told the guy how I flew out specifically for the show(s). A scalper with a heart, imagine that..lol The "Stone Walls And Steel Bars" - still gives me goosebumps to this day . 11. Nice, thanks for posting this Kev. First thing I thought when I saw the commercial. Glad I'm not the only one.
  12. I think after the rain, but I could be wrong. By that point of the night, I was practically walking comatose. I went between there and Rory spinnin' GD until finally laying down on the wet ground beside my van because Scotty took off with my keys... That was the weekend I met tigger, Mr. Pinchy and another guy whose name sadly escapes me, who were all camped beside me.
  13. I saw the same one your talking about Secondtube (and perhaps edger), I enjoyed that one also. Although, I only seem to remember Fatties, P-Funk & the laser Floyd light show...

  19. I agree Jaimoe, who knows how much or what else those idiots had those kids ingest that wasn't caught on tape. Nothing cuter then child abuse.

  21. Bob Dylan and The Band 1969-1970 Compilation DVD VIDEO: NTSC (29.97), 720x480, 10080 kb/s VBR. AUDIO: AC3, 256 kb/s, 2 chnls. NOTES (from source): Here is the DVD of Bob Dylan live at the Isle Of Wight in 1969. Remarkable footage, thought never to have existed, this DVD captures part of Dylan’s performance that day, as well as some other appearances that year beginning with Dylan’s spot on The Johnny Cash Show on May 1st, 1969, performing “I Threw It All Awayâ€, “Living the Blues†and dueting with Cash on “Girl From the North Countryâ€. Then comes the all-important Isle Of Wight footage. In 1969, the Isle of Wight pop festival was Bob Dylan’s festival. This amazing footage is all that we have of Dylan’s performance that day, and features the following tracks: The Weight (The Band), I Threw It All Away, Highway 61 Revisited, One Too Many Mornings, I Pity The Poor Immigrant, Minstrel Boy (cut). Rumor has it that this black and white footage was shot by a friend of John Lennon’s who sat between him and Yoko at the foot of the stage. Whether this is true or not, the picture and sound are remarkably good. The DVD continues with a handful of newsreels from the Isle Of Wight Festival, featuring still more footage of Dylan that day. The DVD rounds off with some footage of The Band live at the Syria Mosque in Pittsburgh in November 1970, shot in color for Dutch television: Time To Kill, The Weight, This Wheel’s On Fire and Up On Cripple Creek.
