  1. Cool, maybe we could start a list of other threads to be deleted, since there are many more with much worse personal attacks, racism, homophobia etc then that one still on here that should have been deleted as soon as they started. Whats the criteria for getting a thread deleted by the way?
  2. The title of this thread reminded me of a type written bulletin posted at the exit of a friends building. I don't remember the entire thing, but it was about putting the garbage in the bin, not beside the bin. But the final line of the bulletin is what I remember clearly:
  3. I grabbed a SBD video recording of the night, DD (acoustic and elect.) and Fatties, minus a song of DD and Fatties for the tape(s) switch. If you know anyone good at transfering from mini digital video to DVD (my good computer is still not going) let me know. I know Mike from St. Catherines also recorded but I don't think Willy did. I could probally extract the entire audio from the video and upload it to archive next week.
  4. Cheers Sean. You'll enjoy that paris show I'm sure. Here's the next show, a bit earlier then I planned, but by request on another board... Review : http://bobsboots.com/CDs/cd-n28.html This show has been released several times, but each previous release seemed to have some type of flaw in the sound quality and/or overall package. Crystal Cat has brought everything together for this wonderful package. Packed full with images captured from the video, CC then adds a couple of great photos of its own. It was released at the end of 1994, and then re-released in 1995. The discs themselves, are the standard CC montage. Perhaps it's nerves, but Dylan rushes through the first three tracks as if he's hyping himself up to dive into the mosh pit. When he sees that the young crowed is becoming relaxed, and respectful of him, he settles into a normal rhythm. The songs are performed with power, and this soundboard recording captures them in all their perfection. This is one CD in two parts, just download both files and unpack the rar files, then put all the files into one folder. The music files are FLAC so you'll have to uncompress them to the format of your choice to burn to the CD. Tracks are not tagged, just numbered. 5. How St. Patrick's days goes? Just another day for me. Anyway, let me know by the weekend, I'd rather not bring my gear if your going to record.
  6. I'll make sure to bring my gear with me then. I'll be there for SloCo also.
  7. I'm not preaching or against anything here, I've done my fair share of substances thats for sure. And yes, the media loves to stretch the truth. But I find your comment very naive. There have been many proven cases of bad batches of E produced resulting in lethal doses. PMA for one, perhaps not a poison but mixed or cut with certian other chemicals in pressies may as well be poison to most who ingest it. I don't expect the media to report it any other way. To think the people who manufacture the pills actually care about the users is ridiculous at best, they care about the dollars. And there will always be another person they can and will get the money from.
  8. Has anyone attempted to make a mix outta any of the topics? If so, make sure Marc0 gets first copy. Awesome job and great game idea buddy. Cheers
  9. Paul Pena - Jet Airliner http://www.sendspace.com/file/w3nsn6 (the original version Miller covered)
  10. Right on, glad you got. Yep, I'll be at fatties and I'll bring the CDs with me. Outlaws & Alcoholics Vol. One and Two right?
  11. Cheers Schwa. , I've had that folder sitting around on my computer for awhile now, but forgot about until I saw this thread, so thank you for reminding me. Also, phunkyb I haven't forgot I owe you some DVDs and CDs, I still haven't gotten my computer fixed so I can't burn DVDs yet, but I do have copies of the CDs for you.
  12. phunkyb, if you go to the link below and sign up on that site, then type in 'Big Spike Hammer' in the song search you'll find Tony Rice's version. http://www.countrytabs.com I tried to post it but the site blocks copying so I couldn't, but I'm looking at it right now. You can though, print out any tabs you want.
  13. This will help beef up the Dylan side of things for ya. Every album he ever recorded, altenate version etc plus a ton of other songs he's covered and some other info. http://www.sendspace.com/file/t3xbf9
  14. Nah, I've been to that fest many times, going back into the 70's when my family used to go. The last time I was there in 2000, two of us were asked to leave for making too much noise and being a bit to rowdy. But in truth, we weren't that loud or rowdy (playing my 12 string and my friend singing) just too loud (and drunk) for that festival at 2am. No hard feelings over it though, I just like to party at those things.
  15. Mariposa is a good festival. Lots of fun and usually a good line-up, pretty family oriented.

  17. Sorry Stone Mtn, I can't help with your decision, but my interest is peaked a bit. I've listened to the entire show you linked to Jay and although TWC aren't really my thing (neither is Jackfruit to be honest) and I'm not slamming either band here but, I'm sorta at a loss to where the country you speak of is in that show. Personally, I hear hip-hop, reggae and jammy - funk - electronica but no country or even rock. Being a big fan of country/folk/rock myself, perhaps, if you told me how you define country music, I may understand. BTW - another fine recording Brad.
  18. I'd say the 98 show is a 'B' for sound. The performce though is an 'A'.
  19. I believe that stuffit expander opens rar files on Macs. ------------------------------------ Heres the next installment. I'm going try to pick a show each week and post it. This is a great sounding recording (volume has been corrected) from the 78 tour. The 'Shelter from the storm' really sticks out in this one for me. If your not a fan of 'At Budokan' you'll probally want to let this one go by, the whole tour that year had pretty much the same band and sound. Stereo audience recording, 140 minutes I had to make this in four parts since sendspace only allows 300MB per upload. Just download each rar file, unpack them, then take the tracks from from each part two and put them in the respective part one folders. Then, you'll have two complete CDs. Play or burn the WAVs. All are tagged and text file included. 20. Saw this the other week when Kanada Kev posted it. As for it being Dylan - well, thats a no brainer, its an impersonation. The 65-67 era voice is a bit too exagerated, but the band is bang on. The website this is on was created in feb. of this year but I've yet to come across anywhere (even on the Dylan sites/forums) that says who really did it. Still, its good for a laugh.
