  9. Never cared for any of the PC beers other then the bavarian, which even then was a last resort sunday beer, before beer stores were open sundays that is. When I buy beer from lakeport (only when the beer/liqour stores are closed) its usually their pilsner.
  10. What is really going hurt the lakeport workers is that Labatt's will give (rumored anyway) workers from their other breweries senority over Lakeport workers with less time in. My neighbour just got hired about two years back and is figuring he's gonna get the boot. It was a good place to work, well back in the early ninties anyway. I spent about 6 months there working for Lakeport while I was laid off from my trade and was also contracted in 94 through my union to work there doing electrical for about a year or so. Loved the free beer every week deal. I'd bet alot of folks (especially in Quebec) would be surprised at some of the beer they bottle there.
  11. Yeah, this was the front page of the spec today. Too bad its going possibly cost 200 people their jobs.
  12. Hmm, I guess that depends where you go. My brother lives in Scotland & was surprised in october when he came to visit how much beer was here compared to where he is in the north. Even taking the exchange into consideration. Crazy with the whole euro thing now, when I was in France in '97 before that all came into effect, things were sorta cheap given the exchange, 25 cents CND was about one franc.
  13. Shit talk, make threats etc, then when confronted have nothing to say.

    web browser

Hey Laforge, why not just do this. 1. Launch IE7. 2. Click on Tools, then select Internet Options. 3. Click on General tab. 4. Locate the Tabs section and then click on Settings button. 6. Uncheck “Enable Tabbed Browsingâ€. 7. Click OK exit. Or try this site, although I've never downloaded from it so I can't validate if shit works. But they have IE6 available. http://www.oldapps.com/internet_explorer.htm

  17. After the shit I read about PETA & them dumping animals in dumpsters, I won't listen to a single word they say. The story is from 2005, but their trial was this year. (links to that at the link I provided)
  18. 1) Before my dual core machine (2x 360GB HDD also) went down, I was grabbing anywhere between 5 & 6 shows on DVD(s) and 5 or 10 shows on CD(s) a week. I averaged about 40GB a week, some weeks less. Not to mention I usually have 3-5 packages going out or in every week (still do) in snail mail trades. 2) Definatley broadening my musical tastes, I've grabbed alot of stuff in trades I normally would never be interested in downloading and in turn that causes me to download more. As for quality time, some weeks I just put the DVDs or CDs in my "in box" so to speak & work my way through, eventually the stuff I really enjoy gets lots of listening time. Stuff I'm not too interested in that I've aquired usually gets traded. Currently, with my good machine down, I am not downloading anything at all. So, I've been using this time to listen to my "in box" and also re-listen to alot of stuff I perhaps didn't give alot of time to in the past. Keep in mind, I really don't download released material, so my new music is almost always live. When I do purchase released material I always go overboard, spending alot of money, but I usually do that twice a year only which is on my birthday (june) & after christmas (dec).
  19. Hey Eric, Is there a difference between the archive version & the copy I have? Thanks again eh. [color:red][edit to add] Yep. Same one.
  20. [color:red]Apu: Hello. I am not interested in buying your house, but I would like to use your restroom, flip through your magazines, rearrange your carefully shelved items and handle your food products in an unsanitary manner. Ha! Now you know how it feels! [color:red]Homer: Thank you. Come again.
