Lucinda Williams! Her show in Lewiston, NY the other week is the best show I've seen all year thus far. I would also add Neko Case and I've always enjoyed PJ Harvey. Not sure I would add Neko and PJ but definitely Lucinda!

About a quarter of this list looks to be about 15 years old! Metallica? RHCP? Pearl Jam? Rage? U2? I agree at a lot of those bands (U2 not being one of them as they are the shittiest stadium show I've ever witnessed - I still have nightmares) are great live but Rolling Stone has their heads stuck in the past and up their asses. It's great to see bands like MMJ, Hold Steady and Wilco on the list but Yeah Yeah Yeah's? Kings of Leon? These bands are not jaw dropping acts! I love Kings of Leon's albums but their performance at the Kool Haus this year was shit in comparison to other shows I've seen. And who the fuck is Gogol Bordello?!?! First I've ever seen that name... maybe I should watch more MTV Canada?

I don't believe Jason was treated properly while playing at the El Mo. The didn't give him the giant bottle of Jack Daniels that he used to get playing with DBT and I every time I see the Truckers they're drinking the "pure brew" Pabst Blue Ribbon. Regardless, the show was fuckin' killer. My stupid smoking habit caused me to miss Neutral Milk Hotel's "Holland 1945" and Tom Petty's "Even The Losers". So boo to that. I loved how he kidnapped Son Volt's keyboard player for this tour. Killer band! And for the record, the country stuff ain't cheese Marge! I loved seeing you again however and look forward to seeing you and humping your leg again. Oh and yes... JAIL BREAK KICKED FUCKING ASS!!!

Just faked a stomach illness at work to get me some more pre Jason time! LM - Jason's album is really polished and produced, believe me it'll rock like a Truckers show! On this tour he's been covering Springsteen, Petty, Thin Lizzy's "Jail Break" and even Neutral Milk Hotel!!! Holy FUCK I can't wait!
