I am definately going to ask some tougher questions when I see or talk to the guy again. he could be coming to look at it today.

I hope it's legit, but if it's not I fear that it will be too late when I find out that it's not. they have already said that they pay around 3 grand so it's really tempting.

free beers would be cool, but it sounds like they would be free budweisers. yeah I think the guy said that they place would be insured and that they would pay for/fix any damage. locking up the valuables is a must, the fact that things could get broken or go missing is what worries me most.

yesterday afternoon the doorbell rang. I went to answer it and it turns out it was this location scout for commercials. he's doing a commercial for Budweiser and he was looking for a place where it looks like 2 guys sit around, watch hockey and drink beer. I guess we fit the bill. he took some pictures of the place and then said he'd get back to us.. he did say that the place looked like what the director was looking for. the best part is that if we are chosen, we get some cash. ... turns out that his director wants to see the place today. what would you all do? would you give up your apt for a couple of days? anyone have any experience with something like this?

I would be leaving from TO if anyone has room. I have all kinds of camping supplies including a cooler that's been on Phish tour a few times that has to come along. of course I would be willing to pitch in for gas etc.

we were drinking at my place last night. I checked out around midnight and left and went to my girlfriends place for the night. I get home this morning to find that my roommate had drunkenly put food in the oven around 2 am and then passed out. when I get home at 10 am the oven is still on. what the fuck? he could have burnt down the whole apartment building. I was pissed off ... big time. the kicker was not only did he endanger all of our lives, but he had also taken my food to cook. anyone have any shitty roommate stories?

where does the cruise leave from?

there's one right next to my apt. it's on High Park Ave, just north of Bloor. it's a 2 bedroom, for under 1000 I think. the only problem is that you have to go through one bedroom to get to the other. it's an amazing neighbourhood and there are great neighbours. I don't know the number to call, but when I get home I can find it and then post again, if you're interested.
