  1. Hey Kev, have you heard the Red Rocks show yet? It's fucking great. There are a couple of rough sections where the band gets lost in the first set (Bertha and Deal specifically, not to mention the key change in Midnight Rider......and some terrible harmonies during the Ripple from the acoustic set because it aint mixed well) but I have to admit that I have not been this excited about a Phil lineup since the PLQ. I also love the Jackie Greene originals! Great songs and I plan to grab some of his material. This is a young formation and it is clicking early. By the time the hit our side of the continent I get the feeling they will be flying. Even that Particle keyboard player is starting to make sense now. And let's not forget Larry is still slaying mountains. Phil Lesh & Friends 09/29/07 (Sat) Red Rocks Amphitheatre - Morrison, CO Set 1 Bertha, Big River, Midnight Rider, Candyman, Cold Black Devil, Deal, Acoustic: Friend of the Devil, Sweet Somewhere Bound, Deep Elem Blues, Brokedown Palace, Tell Me Mama, Ripple Set 2 A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall, Cryptical Envelopment > The Other One > Dark Star > Mountains of the Moon > Dark Star > China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider, Encore: Phil's Donor Talk/Band Intros Not Fade Away Lineup: Phil Lesh - Bass, Vocals; John Molo - drums; Jackie Green - Guitar, Vocals;Larry Cambell - guitar; Steve Molitz - Keyboards.
  2. Yeah, sorry for the false hopes people but YouTube is denying my request for upload because it is too big. I will probably try it on Facebook, or not. The sound didnt come through so well via my camera but it kinda gives you an idea of how insane this bass player is. I plan to keep an eye out for him. Hadrien Feraud:
  3. Popo, you have nooooooooooo idea what this dude has done because he didnt want to do something and what he hasnt done because he wanted to do something. He's the smartest/craziest enigma I have ever met.
  4. Good ole Canadian Tire buddy.
  5. Its 2004 New England Patriots all over again!
  6. New England Patriots 16 (1998) 11 (1999) =8 (2002) 19 (2003) 3 (2004) =3 (2005) 5 (2006) 6 (2007) From these numbers, we can now clearly see that Ollie jumped on the NE bandwagon around 2004.
  7. Wow. How did I miss this earlier. Lucky for you Roller I am in a great mood because its Friday.
  8. Hey Badams, isnt that the place you got a job and worked for 45 seconds before quitting? What was that popular mid-late 80's bar we used to hit? Whiskers? That place should serve me way more memories than it actually does but I guess it kinda makes sense. Its a great location AD and you are only a few blocks from Brad so you had better bring beer.
  9. It depends on how far you are willing to walk. We are going there this weekend so I will take a jaunt down Princess Street when I go visit Badams.
  10. I thought this thread was going to be about midgets, rope, donkeys and butter.
  11. Some moments were absolutely intense and that bass player knocked my teeth out. I got a short video of one of his solos and will post it later tonight via YouTube. Some moments also contained some really cheesy 80's jazz sounds though and I will never past those, from any band, the rest of my days. Ever. Thankfully they were quite brief. I couldnt believe the layering between John and the bass player. Quite often I was dumbfounded and just when I thought I had a grasp on it the drummer would make me remember that he had been carrying them home the entire time which made me uncontrollably drool. I thought the sound was pretty awful for the first couple of numbers but dramatically improved. Over-all I thought it was an supremely excellent night of music and I am more than happy that I went. Thanks DaveyBoy.
  12. Dinghy, the Sens big-money players arent going to be able to do that every game and they will need secondary scoring at some point. I would think you Sens fans would have learned that by now.
  13. Translated: He jumped into my chest, wrapped his legs around my torso and started humping my belly button.
  14. Thanks for the Halloween costume idea.
  15. Toskala tonight. This season already has me giddy.

    Travesty!

Hey Kev, its been over a month, right? You should be sheltering your kids from hippies.
  17. I certainly didnt have to watch the whole game to come up with my 'accurate' opinion. So, who starts in net for the Leafs tonight?

    Stastny!

It aint on the NFL network.
  19. It's still a questionable contract for an older dude. The jury is still out with JFJ on this deal. It all comes down to his production and not his potential. Anyways, Raycroft led off this year like he left off last year as far as I am concerned.
  20. I didnt watch the game aside from breaks during the Habs game but one has to wonder about Reddens headspace. "Am I toast after this recent signing?" And then he gets in 2 fights? Kudos dude. I think that shows a fuck-of-alot more about Heatley's contract day. You go Wade.
  21. Let's all remember that Huet stick save. For the rest of the season.
  22. I would love to see a season where Antropov scores 82 goals while the Leafs end up 0-82. Well, I mean that they dont win a game.
  23. Koivu looked great tonight. I wasnt too sold on the second line though but boy oh boy those boys can skate. More puck control and they might be able to do some damage aside from giving up odd man rushes. They scared me a few times.
