  1. I have been a former roommate of Chameleon and I assure you he's a great housemate - he keeps the place clean and let's you have your own privacy. We've had great times - I have now moved in with the Girlfriend and hope to make it over to the new place for housewarming sometime soon.
  2. sounds like a great show... dunno if it's in the cards... but I like the idea!
  3. Directions: Take 400 north to the 11/400 split and stay with 400 extension to 93 N Midland. Take 93 through Hillsdale, Orr Lake and Waverly and after you pass through Wyebridge, make a left on Ellery sideroad. Take Ellery till it ends and my farm is across the road on Baseline Rd. #480.
  4. There's a small festival near Midland Ontario called Periwinkle. if you want to find out more email me at jay.cleary@gmail.com It's a small gathering of people in that area, bands all night and camping. There's a shuttle on Saturday to the beach. House of David Gang and High Plains Drifter on Friday and Run with the Kittens and What it Is on Saturday. There are lots of other bands which I'll pass on as soon as I know. Irie! Jay http://www.myspace.com/houseofdavidgang http://www.myspace.com/highplainsdrifting

  7. Those are some great photos! Where are the come together festival shots - then and now? Come Together is celebrating it's 10th year this year - love to see some before and after shots of that!
  8. Great show last night - the band are such a delight to watch - they really have a great sense of dynamics and the fiddle player was really something else - his playing reminded me of that of a guitar player - a la - Trey - his lines sing and soar. The Closer "Acadian Driftwood" was awesome! Totally reminded me of Burt Neilson band's 10 Year Anniversary! Thanks to so many who came out - it's great to see that this little known band found a really energetic audience on their first time through town. looks like the Jam scene may be on the rebound in Toronto w/ Mike Gordon, moe., Wassabi Collective coming and I'm sure much more coming up. -Jay

For more than a decade, Toronto trio The New Deal have explored the endless possibilities in performing live, improvised electronic music. They’ve released numerous albums, toured extensively and headlined countless “jamtronica†festivals. All three are powerhouse players who seem to communicate on stage via ESP.
