  1. Dave-O - Let us never speak of the things we saw "at the top of the stairs" lol what the hell was that about? Jaybone you never cease to amaze me, I'll keep checking my email. I wish you were coming with us brother. See you and Erin at the wedding. I first discovered FouFounes on my first official Sloth's walking/drinking tour of downtown Montreal. It was both educational and drunken.
  2. We're throwing Gateaux a massive Bachelor party this weekend in Montreal and I'm looking for suggestions for favorite bar, club, strip club, music venue, potine shack, whorehouse, free clinic. Any suggestions?
  3. Probably just some outwardly projected insanity...
  4. Guys help me with this memory I have of SPAC. Day two I'm spun out of my head, we're leaving the venue through some back way through the woods. People are everywhere partying in the trees and we come across what looks like a bunch of folks getting high off some natural spring coming out of the ground and the horse cops are trying to shoo everyone away but people just keep ignoring them and freaking out like there on nitrious. My question is...Did this happen?
  5. Ya that hotel we stay in was great. You could wander right into the venue and I think I have a tour shirt that still smells like that open pit rib joint. Fuck I love SPAC!

  14. Centretown is the "nutmeat" of downtown Ottawa. Its very safe for the most part, just some crazy crackies. Tell her to try and stick between Elgin St. and Bronson Ave the closer to Elgin the better and between Gladstone and Sommerset, but there are nice pockets outside of that too. For 1000 bucks she'll find something great in Centretown. At that price she can also check out; Westboro Hintonburg Sandy Hill
  15. This will help ease the pain of not being there. kinda...
  16. Amadou & Mariam - Welcome to Mali Shearwater - Rook N.A.S.A - Spirit of Apollo
  17. KevO you're title is misleading, I got my hopes up that you were moving to Ottawa. At that price range she might even have trouble finding something in Centretown. Here are some links I've used in the past; http://www.247apartments.com/rentals/Ontario/Ottawa.asp http://ottawa.en.craigslist.ca/apa/ http://ottawa.kijiji.ca/f-housing-apartments-for-rent-W0QQCatIdZ37 http://www.ccochousing.org/ http://www.247apartments.com/rentals/Ontario/Ottawa.asp http://ottawa.rentershotline.ca/ http://www.ottawaliving.ca/ottawa-rental-listings-search.php http://www.rentboard.ca/rentals/index.aspx?locid=4617 http://www.viewit.ca/city/ottawa.aspx Also tell her to check out Ottawa U, Carelton and Algonguin. They all have places where they post apartments, that where you'll find the cheap spots. Hope this helps PS - Glebe rules!!

  19. musicthatmakesyoudumb.virgil.g… — A comparison between music preference and average SAT score. This site surveyed college kids from hundreds of universities on what they listen to as well as their SAT scores. Not very scientific, but pretty interesting finds; Beethoven's at the top and rap is towards the bottom.
