  1. Happy Birthday to the greatest friend a person could ask for. Enjoy your day babe!!
  2. Yeah it ain't great, no punch at all. If you're looking for leaks of new indie music, check out this guy's site, he's always way ahead of everyone else. http://rhsiv.tumblr.com/ http://rhsiv.tumblr.com/archive
  3. He's worth the money, more than worth it even. Highlight from the last show was running to our seats, through the arena concourse with Del, beaming on acid with In The Flesh blaring from the stage. If you ever seen the movie you'll understand just how awesome this moment was. I'm sadly saving money for Phish tour so I'm hoping someone will have an extra later on. Let me know if you do.
  4. Wow, I'm loving the dircetion your new "big cheese" is taking the festival.
  5. man I miss peanut butter, not to mention bread.
  6. As a new runner I'm still trying to find the right music to run to, you guys have give me some great ideas.. So far I've just been listening to only Phish and some hip hop. Shpongle proved to be too intense.
  7. Thanks Brad, I was hoping I'd get some of that patented detailed Bradm knowledge on this. I was worried it was going to be a sit down show, and after the Timber Timbre show last night I don't think I could do it again. I've got a hotel and ride figured out so I'm covered, but thanks for looking into it for me.
  8. Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever seen a show at Le National? I thought I knew this venue but I guess not. It's got seats but the show is GA, yet my ticket has a seat/row number? Anyone ever been?
  9. Band of Horses - Infinite Arms (2010)
  10. Hey that's my home town!! Its actually been a running joke my whole life about how terrible we are at promoting ourselves. But really anything beyond "good" is an overstatement. I think the runner up slogan was "New Minas, home of the...meh"
  11. I totally forgot this show was happening. I've been wanting to see these guys for awhile, and Sleigh Bells opener only sweetens the deal. Plus it looks like this is the only non sold out show of the tour. I might try and pull it off, though Sundays are tricky. Anyone on here going? http://www.latulipe.ca/calendrier_lenational/lenational_programmation_eng.asp?month=5&year=2010#
  12. Love the album. "Theme from Cheers" has got to be one of the best party anthems of all time, hell all the songs are great. Highly recommended.
  13. Damn thats too bad, I was looking forward to hearing it.
  14. Yup that's it, not new material just a new release and since they're touring in support of it, I was hoping they'd make the Bluesfest cut.
  15. You said it Mama, I'd love to see either or both of those bands. Pavements new album is pretty gosh darn good. It's in a new location but the layout of the Gold Circle is pretty much the same concept. Remember that last tour, at least the Ottawa show, it was advertised as a show with Neko and then she was nowhere to be found. I'm in love with Kathryn Calder so I didn't care but others were dissapointed.
  16. 17. Be sure to check out Passion Pit before The Lips' date=' I've been digging them a lot lately.[/quote'] i will definitley dig your passion pit and lips Whoa sailor, not without buying me dinner first.
  18. Best I could do was highlight all the items in My Calendar and cut and paste it to Word, remove all the pictures and voila ...ghetto Bluesfest calendar lol
