Harvard folks?
Hey Paan, I'm going to try to make it to the show, but I don't think I can get away early enough to jam before. Thanks for the kind offer!
Hopefully I'll see you at the show though, for some groovy dancin' fun!
Peace, Mark

The guest list offer is now closed ... see you tonight!

Wishing Neil a full and speedy recovery, and hoping he continues to write great songs and play lots of shows for many years to come.
We'll have to play a song or two tonight to send out some positive healing vibes for Neil.

There was that other occasion at Stratengers, though, where they did have a hockey game on in the background; funny how every goal happened at precisely the same moment as a killer moment in a song
Yeah ... I thought the cheers were because they actually liked what we were playing ... silly me!

Super Freak, it's always a pleasure to see you and talk with you. Have a wonderful birthday and I hope to see you soon.

A friendly bump-ditty-bump about this show.
We've got room on the guest list for a couple of people that want to come out to this. Send me a private message if you plan on coming to the Boathouse tonight, and I'll add your name to the guest list. I'll take the first two.
The guest list offer also applies to anyone heading to BC within the next 4 days. ::

Five thousand posts ... impressive!
Five thousand thoughtful posts ... even more impressive!!
OK, maybe some of those 5000 posts didn't require much thought, but seriously Brad, your contributions to the Sanctuary are very much appreciated by me and many others.

M ... you rock!!!
Wishing you a super-duper happy birthday!

For what it's worth, Zappa says "titties and beer" ...
I like using "beers" ... as in, "I'm going out for some beers" ... the way I see it, if you have lots of beer then you end up seeing double so it becomes "beers" ::
OK, I think I've had too many wines tonight!

For a guy's privates:
shaft, tool, prick, weenie, family jewels
For a woman's privates:
snatch, pussy, twat
I have no idea where I first heard any of those words, but I know that they are part of my vocabulary.
Peace, Mark
Feltching ... hmmmm ... never heard that one.

A very good band, in my opinion ... all of the musicians in the band are solid, and the keyboard player is awesome!
I've seen them 3 times and would definitely go again.

Interesting info about Tom Waits. Thanks for sharing Jeff. I didn't write the blurb on Vorcza, but when I read the Tom Waits line it grabbed me.
Really glad that BNB is also playing at the May Come Together Fest. I've never been as excited about a Come Together Fest lineup as I am for this one!
Hey, I just went to the Burt web site ... looking good ... nice work Jeff!

Happy birthday Jaimoe ... I really enjoy reading your posts.
I don't think we've ever met in person, but hopefully that will happen at some point soon. Or maybe we have and I just didn't know it or don't remember ...

Thanks for updating the site, LMP.
I'm not sure why my emails are bouncing back ... I'll send you a PM right now.

I thought that this year's May Come Together Music Festival was looking really sweet when the initial lineup was announced. With Vorcza and BNB added to the Sunday night, this year's festival is shaping up to be absolutely stellar ... WOW!!! I'm stoked!!!

It's a go for sure ... Vorcza on Sunday May 22 at the Come Together Music Festival!
I'm sure that the festival web site will be updated in the near future to reflect this exciting news!

now that really sucks! Well, hopefully I'll see you in a few in the Loo.
Yes, I was bummed that it didn't work out Marc. It's been too long, my friend! Hope to see you in the not-too-distant future.
And it's been too long since I've seen Caution Jam ... it's sounding like it's going to be a full-on Caution Jam blowout!
I'm still waiting for somebody to create a time machine so that I can make it to multiple happenings! ::

OK, I couldn't hold onto this news any longer!
Just added to close out the May festival on Sunday night:
VORCZA
If Tom Waits played organ, you would be close to the Vorcza experience. This explosive trio that blends jazz, funk and world music features Ray Paczkowski (Trey Anastasio Band, Dave Matthews & Friends), Gabe Jarrett (Jazz Mandolin Project), & Robinson Morse (Viperhouse).
This trio of musicians and composers has a singular style of playing together. This is a music which takes audiences to dizzying heights of rhythmic and harmonic exploration and still manages to satisfy listeners who crave melody and nuance. They howl with intensity and whisper intimately with grooves of funk, latin and jazz.

Now I'm even more excited for this festival ... what a great addition to the lineup!
Peace, Mark
