That's not necessarily true Mike. The site lists key areas as well as encourages people to strategic-vote, i.e., don't waste your Green (leftist) vote in tight ridings with Conservatives.

Whether for good or bad reasons, Canadians have had hands in many outcomes of playoffs so far. How about Russell Martin for the Dodgers. I hate that team almost as much as the Red Sox, but he's a keeper. I hope all our good young Major Leaguers play for Canada in the upcoming World Baseball Classic.

I haven't watched too many new films since the fall TV season started, but I rather liked Forgetting Sarah Marshall. It's a pretty funny, bawdy romantic comedy (a genre I like - more with classic movies though). Anyway, I think Sarah Marshall is a better film than other Judd Apatow-related comedies like Knocked Up and Superbad (maybe not funnier than the latter, but better all-round). The best of the bunch is still The 40-Year Old Virgin, by a healthy margin.

When I was in Boston a few years ago, the only unsavoury area I found was around Fenway Park. I was in the "Combat Zone", but it wasn't too bad; they've cleaned that area up and it's close to their Chinatown is located, which is the 3rd largest in North America. Boston is a great town and it's becoming more walkable since The Dig.

Carl Lewis' version remains the greatest rendition of any anthem ever sung worldwide. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

For the major networks, you can just go to their websites and look for whatever show you want. Most stream episodes not too long after their original air date.

It's a good thing I'm not going to my cousin's place or a family friend's house for Thanksgiving where I had to endure some of what was on my list; one time I had Cornish hens with raisin stuffing. Yuck. My mom's a good cook, so dinner will be great, though I can't vouch for my uncle not laying into a political rant during dessert.

Getting up at 1:00pm and after 4 hours of sleep (night-shift) and then hopping in a car and driving to Kingston for Thanksgiving. I'll mash the potatoes, make a fuss out of not eating turnip, have some wine, eat some turkey and then I'll hop in my car and head back to Toronto. I love the holidays, but shift-work not so much.

Second the mustard recommendation. Make it good mustard though like original French's and any of their specialty mustards that are a little spicy. Screw the no-name crap.
