I think it will come. I believe he will pass a lot of Walkers numbers by the time he is done. Hopefully he has no serious injuries. I saw a comparison between Morneau and Walker for their first 5 years in the Bigs and Morneau has better numbers by quite a bit. I think he'll stay healthy since he doesn't have to dive, throw and run too much when he's in the field.
I can't believe Morneau doesn't get the recognition he deserves in this country. Anyone thinking about going to the World Baseball Championship this year? Canada vs USA at the Dome will be awesome. I hope our good players decided to play this time out.
As hour-long comedy episodes go, I thought last night's Office flowed pretty well. It was one of Stanley's best shows and Jim was funny. I always laugh at Andy. I like the scene where Michael took away Jim's notebook as he was conversing with Pam and you could still see her annoyed face on the screen as Michael walked around the office.
This was Roy's best season, even with his win-loss record. 9 complete games (4 in a row), a sparkling ERA, led the league in innings pitched etc... If he got the run-support in the first half of the year, he'd have over 24 wins easy.
Ricky Gervais and Don Rickles were funny as hell on an otherwise mostly bland Emmy's. I'm pleased that Don Rickles, John Adams and Recount were recognized. The "In Memorium" segment was very sad. Harvey Korman rules.
This is terrible new. I really don't like Blink, but I think Travis is one hell of a punk drummer (especially in his side projects). He seems like a good dude too. I hope he and DJ AM pull through.
I don't think he did TV broadcasts into this decade. I believe he got out of the booth in the early to mid 90's, but it may have been earlier than that. Ron was doing TiCat radio broadcasts this year though.
You forgot to mention that women don't need to get equal pay for equal work plus investing in arts is a waste of time and money. No wonder Harper's son learns piano at home since music classes have been dropped in many jurisdictions across the country.
He came from an era when the CFL was no second-tier league. Ron was one of the greats and one of the best football players Canada has ever produced: http://www.cbc.ca/sports/football/story/2008/09/18/ron-lancaster-fans.html
Almost every time it rains here at work, we lose all of our Bell ExpressVu TV signals - most would say that this isn't such a bad thing. For this reason, I won't switch from those fucking Rogers bloodsuckers to those fucking Bell weasel hackers.
