Jansen pitched 3 innings in Class A yesterday. Had a good outing. No runs, couple hits, more k then w. I thought there was a chance for Marcum a lot earlier then September. He is scheduled to pitch a bullpen tomorrow. Fantasy league says mid-August at the earliest. And sorry.. it was McGowan that was originally mid-June but now they're saying maybe not at all.

The "power potential" reference is whats keeping him hitting third isn't it? Every year they talk about his power. Some of the stats would change a bit if you hit someone at a different spot in the order too... the pitches they get change...

Have to disagree. Scutaro is not a lead off hitter. doesn't have the speed. Takes walks and has an OBP but his AVG is heading down and will level out... but hey. thats what makes baseball fun. telling Schwa he's wrong.

Once they let Snider face lefties I'd like to see: Rios Hill Snider Wells Lind Rolen Overbay Barajas Scutaro I don't move Hill at all. As for Wells, the way its set out there is better for left right left then if Wells got moved. Purcey just killed himself with the balls in the first inning. Watched the first 3 batters and he threw like 11 balls and 2 stirkes. Brutal. Worst part is he didn't even eat up innings. I mean, sure go out and get killed, but at least take 7 innings to throw 100 pitches so we don't kill the pen.

I hear you. But at the same time - before any of the sites said anything, I looked at a list posted on panicfreaks and it was dead on. It said Panic closes Finger Lakes. (ps. I think Panic closes one in Texas and one in Tennessee that aren't 2 nighters. Not sure if there are others, maybe in one of the Carolinas?)

ABB's site shows it as "ABB Closes" or "WSP Closes" for each show aside from Cannandagua. either the tour page or maybe you have to go to each show page.
