  1. My wait time bounces from 3 to 15 or more... and back again
  2. Do you always wait or just go back and re-try?
  3. I'm getting really excited for this. I'm really hoping that hitting one show is enough to make me HAVE to hit more. I'm cleaning up the calendar just in case...
  4. Question - anyone in the loop know if J.B. and Jimmy are playing with ABB tonight? And anyone not using their Moogis tonight if JB and Jimmy are playing?
  5. I think thats wishful thinking... 10 to 1 says the only "co-headliner" aspect of teh tour would be giving the two bands equal time. ABB would have to close (not that I want them too - but they just draw a lot more people don't they?)
  6. ps. I haven't heard the "co-headliner" part...
  7. I'd love it at a festival... but I'm worried we won't get enough panic
  8. Not fair to classify that as the post office ripping you off. They have to sell and buy at the going rate minus their fees. Otherwise we could all buy money orders in U.S. funds and then cash them in Canada or the U.S. depending on which way the dollar went. It'd be risk-free investing, no? But thats my concern here - if visa charged you then you're going to lose 1.5% or so both on the initial purchase and on the refund, plus whatever change there was to the dollar. I've lost out on that one before.
  9. Here's teh shitter for all us Canadian folks - when the cancel, does Visa cancel the order and not put a charge on your card. Or do you lose some dough because the dollar went up yesterday afternoon? Its not much, and was totally worth it - just wondering...
  10. That made me laugh out loud. People at work are looking at me funny now. thanks.
  11. One reservation for the Darien Lake on-site hotel for trade for your pair of tickets 5th row or better for either Darien or SPAC Will throw in a headie (slightly used) 1993 Phish Tour shirt for front row or better.
  12. the people just taking a sneak peek probably crashed their servers! Hey Basher - any chance you know when/where Panic is playing this summer? (its worth a shot - you always have your nose to the ground)...
  13. Don't forget too that Hampton Roads area is not depressed. Its a well-off part of VA. They don't care about the money coming in... (I mean, they do - but you get it...)
  14. Sanity would be a great pick. Wilson would make the place shake. I'm actually getting excited. That NY Times interview/snippit has me pumped.
  15. That was a good article. I like that they're trying to get back to being the band I liked instead of the one I didn't.
  16. First I'm not an IP lawyers - so I don't honestly know. I'd suspect its different depending on where you are. But, regardless of whether it would be "enforceable in an action" I can say that with my own two eyes I've seen them take shirts from people that were Glide vs Tide, Harpua Guinness etc. type shirts. Song names and/or verses with pictures etc. I've seen that.
  17. Not sure what 1994 has to do with it? And I don't think that people actually work around it. I think it has to do with "likeness" and therefore any of the shirts that refer to words in a song etc. are in violation and are scooped by the GayTreyPolice, at least on occasion. I'm sure you're right about use it or loose it, and if in fact, that is what they're doing I'd look at it differently. If the goal is to keep Walmart from selling Phish shirts without licence all the power to them. But if its to combat the kids in the lot, which the link suggests, then it just seems odd. I wasn't comparing it to scalping - I was merely giving them points for being aligned with my morals on that issue in keeping prices low, but confused on the other.... I'm actually a little nervous about what Hampton is going to look like this weekend. Seems like it could get ugly...
  18. But we hvae to sell t-shirts to be able to buy tickets off scalpers! Not sure how I feel about this. Its always left a sour taste in my mouth when I see the Trey-police taking someone's stickers or shirts knowing full well that every dollar the kid makes will go towards getting him to the next Phish show. That "scene" etc. is part of how Phish got so big, right. At least in my opinion. And they're making mad loot with the music. That being said, it their copyright to enforce. At least they haven't gone crazy with stupid ticket prices (cough cough, dead sell-outs cough cough)
  19. 9 days eh! I filed today and 9 days would be great...
  20. I'm still trying to find a good room too if anyone on this board is at the point of not trying to trade for tickets...
  21. quick tax is pretty simple and only takes a half hour if your tax situation is basic: T4, some RRSPs, a few donations and some student shit. Works for me. Cost $12.99 I think.
