  1. id love to go but thats my big 3-0, ill be in the backyard here drinking like its 1999
  2. yeah Brad that Beavis Board is a pretty sweet deal to get into this stuff. ive been thinking about building my own little breakout box and get a little rig like that going, it would bea easier while testing and stuff like that. that Fatboy thing is neat, and goes to prove my point, tubes are obsolete but a ton of folks swear by that rish warm sound, i do too, tubes r great, i guess i should have typed in purple or something about that. and bouche, im sure its even easier, if you know what you are doing, to program some digital code to make audio signal X sound like Y or whatever, even line 6 started something so guys can do DIY digital shit, see here that stuff is still beyond me, hell, half the stuff i build i dont really understand the theory behind it, but im learning. its a slow process with everything else i have going on in my life. I dont have an iphone, so ill be using my homemade stuff, but if you can coax some good tones out of an iphone app, giver i say, and post a sound sample too, i wanna hear this shiat
  3. obsolete like tubes? i dont know anyone who still uses those old things lol. i think alot of folks will still buy analog pedals, they sound better than digital processing, to my tin ears anyways
  4. Happy Birthday toooooooooo YYYOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU sorry we couldnt make it to simcoe last weekend, but ya'll should come to my 30th on the 26th, no cool bands playin, just acoustics n banjos in the back
  5. i use firefox, flash is good to me, this banner isnt. i just typed in my login info, put the cursur back to the name spot, and hit enter. fuck this tab tab space do the hokey pokey shit i dont got time for that
  6. i hope we can make this, i like both bands, im just on the fence about this c towns guy.
  7. happy birthday brother, hope it was a good one
  8. that is a sweet score velvet!

  10. i wonder if this is the same guy, i dont think so, i read a quote from one of BPs top engineer guys saying that due to costs and stuff, most of BPs equipment was designed to "mostly work" instead of "never fail" good job on that decision you fucking dummies
  11. that HAARP program is super fucked, i just watched a video on it the other day, remarkable what they can do with that piece of shit
  12. thanks for posting that big explanation, that helped out alot! as far as decent shows on cable i love Fringe, i think JJ directs it too, really cool scifi show, alt universes, put it this way: it makes it look like X-files was written by kids, and Fringe is written by university prof's, some of the science shit. great show. thanks again
  13. i always use www.btjunkie.org, mr sanislo turned me on to this site a few months back, and so far, it has never dissappointed, its got every album ive searched for, movies galore, its a great site.
  14. ive always meant to try some etches, as when we moved into this new house, there was and still is a big bottle of muriatic acid in the workshop, just never gotten up the guts to try it yet, or the free time. it would be nice to think up a sweet small logo and then etch it onto all the back plates
  15. www.lostpedia.com they left it pretty wide open for intrepretation, but im kinda leaning towards the whole purgatory state, after hearing jackface talk about it on kimmell last night. after the show ended i immediately thought that the sideways was what happened after juliette hit the bomb and reset everything, but even in the alt world they all were still connected and all had to remember before they were set free i dont know man that show was great but also a total mindfuck at the same time lol
  16. if you got any small metal tins, ill take em!!
  17. thats probably doable lol, my step sister has been making wacky cakes for years now, i know shes done a few guitarcakes
  18. yeah, my buddy Brad said he wanted some colours i usually dont use, cuz i do a ton of these swirl jobs for this pedal company, so he wanted something different. I suggested browns n creams, make it look all desserty or like one of those fancyass coffees, and he said yeah. Hopefully he digs it. It looks good enough to eat for sure. Building this i finally figured out my newest fav. tubescreamer configuration, 2 3mm red LEDs vs. 1 stock diode. It frigging kills. This will cut thru the mix no problems, not too middy like all TSs tend to be by design, this one sounds fekkin awesome!! im just glad to get two more effects out of the project bin and into boxes and happy homes.
  19. yeah it looks all chocolatey and tasty. its getting some chrome knobs, i cant put the cheapo black ones on that pedal, and i cant for teh life of me find creme coloured knobs locally, so chromies it is! note the baggie of inspiration in the dirty 30 pics lol. WOOPS!
  20. so ive still been building when i can, i had a few nice comments on the swirly painting that ive done before so i figured id share the latest one i did for a friend. its a Tubescreamer clone, modded to hell, it will slay any stock tubescreamer you put beside it. very similar to the one diesel Doug got from me last year. heres the upskirt shot, pretty tight in there but it works, even got room for a battery! all its missing is knobs. and heres one in a little metal tin (see WTB forum) this is for my buddys 30th bday tonight, hence the name i got my wifey to paint on the side, i cant paint that nice, i paint like a five yr old. this things SCREAMS!! for 3 resistors, 2 capacitors, a few diodes and a tranny, this thing kills. great distortion, when its dimed, it sounds like a marshall, just screams, im building one for myself this week, considering its like 10-15 bucks all in, this is a ton of bang for the buck. no LED. the circuit board is samller then a 9v battery if youve got any small metal tins, drop me a line. if you need a sweet distortion pedal for under 50, drop me a line thanks for looking!!
  21. Still ranks as one of the best shows I've seen. sgreed. one of the best wedding gifts we got, was two tickets to see the old crows from Esau. thanks again brother! i cant wait to see old crow again, ive been bugging carson and kenny to bring them up here for a while.
  22. riveting stuff ctowns, truly riveting. were stuck in the city, got a big bbq and a surprise 30th for a buddy, should be fun wknd but id love to be up on a lake
