  4. Hey kc why did you change the title of this thread? More people will show up if you leave Bobby's name in the title. I'm kidding either way and I'm sure Bobby would find all this slightly amusing. I wouldn't be surprised if he shows up.
  5. Happy Birthday! Lots of cool bdays around the holidays. Have a good one.
  6. I can’t stop laughing over the title of this thread. The poster should read The Bobby Hebert Experience, minus Bobby Hebert.
  7. Remember That Night is on at 11:30pm on PBS. Sorry if this has been posted already but a quick search shows nothing about it.

    Weird...

It's not Lazlo. The guy rarely if ever leaves Hamilton. The last time he left Hamilton, that I know of, he pissed himself and had to call his parents to pick him up. There's no way Lazlo could come up with something like this.
  10. Great show Sat night! Pepper Jack’s was hopping… Very few people that I recognized and I don’t think there was one person from the board other thn staff. Sorry if I missed anyone. There’s a pretty decent reggae scene developing around here and I hope a few more people pick up on it. We’ll be headlining the Casbah for NYE with h.E.A.T and Dodger. It’s going to be a huge show with each band capable of filling the room. We feel honoured to be a part of such a great event. I’ll have more info soon in case anyone is interested. chrs bc
  11. I'll have some big news soon but this is it for about 5 weeks. I suspect you'll have another engagement next time anyway. It'll happen eventually. chrs
  12. Thanks for all the well wishes. I get more and more excited as the days go by. What's the Ottawa site? Aloha, Brad That was one of two misquotes. Burd has only developed residential in these areas. I’m designing the site with Burd’s architect. That’s one of our angles and Chameleon is right about the changing demographics. Welland is a small city - I almost feel awkward calling it a city. It has a very central location and we’ll be advertising towards the 2 million people that live within 30 minutes of the venue. I’m also designing the venue to accommodate many different configurations that include theatre, concert hall, and cabaret. We’ll be able to host theatre groups, seminars, corporate functions, etc. There will also be a smaller section of the venue with a club/restaurant vibe and bar bands. We’re going to generate revenue anyway we can on our dark days. I’d be foolish if I wasn’t a bit sceptical but at the end of the day I feel pretty good about everything. I’ve seen a lot of music venues come and go and I’m going to give this one everything I have. I think we’ll be able to keep the place going. Cheers bc
  13. I know there's a few of you that always show your support but I think I'm wasting my time with the rest of you. I don't think there's many reggae fans from the Hamilton area on this board. We're pretty darn good and I recommend checking us out someday. RIDDIM RIDERS Pepper Jack's - 38 King William St. Hamilton 905.525.6666 www.pep perjackcafe.com Doors open 9pm $5. 14. Thought some of you might be interested. They quoted us wrong on a few things but it's a positive article either way. Wish me luck! Cheers Park Theatre
  15. I believe the cover is $10. Definitely not more. I'm going to talk to them again and push for $8 since it's such short notice.
  16. Listening to yesterdays show right now and it sounds great! They'll probably be selling copies of tonights show as well. Pretty sweet cd duplication system on the tour bus.
