  1. Haven't touched a smoke in the last 2 days. Feelin' good!
  2. I've read mine a couple times. Good book for sure, hope you get it back. I've never ever had any book I've lent out returned to me. General rule being that I know if I'm lending it out that I'm really just giving it away. It takes people so long to read a book sometimes that I just forget who has it and they seem to forget they borrowed it just as fast. It's sad.

  4. I'm 2/3 of the way through the book and I've got to admit that the way he gets you to look at it is great. I plan to finish the book in the next couple days and be finished with smoking too. Thanks for sharing.
  5. Ultra expensive and has to be booked for two nights. A couple years ago when we went to see Duo/Trey & Mike/Phil we returned right after the show and our air mattress pump was too loud for security and they told us it was lights out (11pm). After another few visits from them I spent the last 90 minutes of my night sitting in silence staring out of my tent flap at the stars while I tripped on the shrooms I ate 2 minutes before security arrived the first time. Although hitting up the Superman coaster the next morning almost made it worth it.
  6. If I recall correctly there was a line of toys that interacted with the show during small segments that also reportedly gave people seizures. Good times! Also, I love that Dr. Who theme. It's amazing how that song was created back then :

  9. My brain is being overloaded with Flashbacks......
  10. That's absurd. Wonder if the huge price tag has anything to do with the long line of musical guests that joined them on stage who also would have to get a cut.....ie. can't see Eric Clapton allowing them free reign on the sale of a live version of Layla that he sang and performed on.
  11. Hmmm. I've heard of adding a vibrato onto a guitar, not sure if I've ever seen the opposite. I'd have to guesstimate that the work and process involved in doing that and maintaining the look and feel (and sound) would be more than it's worth. If you like the guitar the way it is I'd stick with it.
  12. I've never heard of these guys (other than BBT obviously) before today but I'm taking a leap and concluding that if he wasn't in the band they wouldn't have the connections to be opening for Willie and therefore wouldn't have been interviewed on CBC. Seems hypocritical to use his celebrity to further the bands career and then lash out at anyone that mentions anything about it.
  13. One of the top stories on Yahoo.ca for anybody who is interested. http://ca.yahoo.com/s/882358 http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/090408/entertainment/billy_bob_cbc
  14. It must be a bit intense being a member of his band. Grumpy fella....

    nickleback sux

Why do I get the feeling that he was expecting a different answer when he asked the crowd: "Do we have any Nickelback fans in Portugal?"
  16. Watched this today also. Thought it was pretty good. They must be completely pissed that this copy somehow was leaked. Imagine putting all that time and money into a project only to have it leaked for free on the internet before it was even finished. Almost all of the computer generated effects are yet to be added. Still, Wolverine is the shit.
  17. Happy Birthday Brad!
  18. I admire how Fender nailed it more than a half century ago and he wasn't even a musician.
  19. Interesting. Sadowsky (never tried one) must make good instruments if Fender actually tried to sue them.
