I don't listen to hip-hop but if I did it would be "The Pharcyde - Bizarre Ride to The Pharcyde" or super old Snoop but that's just me. Although I didn't mind this when somebody posted it on Facebook the other day:

It chews me up that planning for concerts in advance always fucks you over when they release the cheap good seats at the last minute all the time. I'm happy with my lawns as long as the weather is good but still....

My first show as well. I remember trying to get out of an EI meeting because I thought I might be late for the show. The lady at Human Resources however was very hard to convince that I had an extremely important wedding to attend on a Tuesday afternoon. Made the show but missed the first 2 songs. EDIT: Also, one of my favourite memories from the show was an ultra low note that Mike hit during What's The Use that literally blew me back like a 100mph wind.

Every good vibe I can muster is headed his way. His bass playing and the Beastie Boys' music has been one of my biggest and oldest influences.
