    Any CFL fans?

I'm a CFL fan when Ottawa has a team. Still waiting for it to come back. I definitely understand your excitement, I went to the 2004 Grey Cup, which was pretty lame considering it was in Ottawa. I imagine the Edmonton parties will be raging. Have fun!
  2. Because a journalist asked about it and got the headline he/she wanted. KFC is getting tons of pub due to lazy journalists making up stories. Back to the salt, I heard Pho is something to avoid if you're concerned about sodium.
  3. You're holding up a guy who's played 1 game for the Leafs as your shining example?
  4. PVR'd the match. I try to avoid this thread during matches so feel free to post spoilers. In any case, I spoiled the match for myself after 3 goals and a red card in the first 14 minutes. Looks like Bale had a great second half!
  5. My conclusion on Murray is that he's a great drafting GM... not so good with the trades and signings. He can stay as a scout.
  6. I'm not with Jermaine Jenas in the starting lineup! Only hoping for a point anyway. Or a respectable drubbing.
  7. Oh Christina Blizzard! Didn't she write an article describing Ottawa as crack central somewhat recently? Nice to know she's still reaching for that brass ring of journalism!
  8. So am I the first skank to have tried this monstrosity? It actually wouldn't be so bad as a chicken sandwich if it wasn't so damn salty. I knew it was loaded with sodium but it was literally like biting into a block of salt. I would not have been able to finish it without the half litre of Pepsi that came with my combo.
  9. So I paid for 2.5 of them. It's nice to know where my money is going.
  10. He walked right by me and I looked him right in the eyes and that was definitely not Roger Waters. He said, "Thanks for showing up early, I'm the opening act!" Or something along those lines.
  11. We got down to the floor and started looking for our seats in row 30 only to find out there was no row 30. It was lost to production space and we were upgraded to row 11. Amazing!! Great show, I had an awesome time but maybe I was expecting too much for the $250 I paid for my ticket. The show definitely begged for David Gilmour at key moments. The guitar playing and Gilmour vocals were solid but didn't really transcend the feel of a cover band. For the most part this wasn't a problem but it held things back from going to the next level musically. I also think Roger could have done a tasteful acoustic encore set to add a little more bang for the buck, and I don't think it would have detracted from the overall vibe. Again, overall had a super time and would see the show again, but it's not without its warts. It was the weakest of the 3 Roger Waters shows I've seen. The other 2 are in my top 20 of all time though. How was the volume for everyone? It could have been louder where we were.
  12. Anyone who saw the show already remember if it started right on time at 8 PM?

    BEER!!

I think I just tripped a little on this beer.
  14. This is a great band. I hope you got your asses kicked.
  15. Yeah, I was alluding to his record. I don't want or expect him to lose but he should get the chance to keep playing until he does.
  16. Leclaire. Awesome. At least we have a lead. Will they call up Mike Brodeur ahead of Lehner? I still think he should get a chance to lose a game in a Sens uni.
  17. I know what you mean dude. I'll be on the floor, row 30!
  18. Swamp juice. I had my first "lying down by the side of the road" experience on that stuff.
  19. Looks like we just disagree on who is the lesser of two evils. I too wish Alex Munter was running.
