  1. Ha, ha yeah I'd agree. Can't believe how much Spurs seemed to steamroll over them. Fingers crossed that Bale's yellow card isn't the fly in the ointment.
  2. The PVR is set! How's Inter's squad? I have not been following them at all.
  3. I finally got a chance to listen to the new Genesis Revisited album today. It's good but I was expecting more in the way of new arrangements. This sounds to me (with exceptions) like a note for note re-recording of the music with, for lack of a better term, worse vocals. I seeme to remember the first Revisited disc being more adventuruous. Am I mis-remembering? In any case, this is going to kill live!

We got the wristband because we plan on going each night if possible.

    Bluesfest 2013

Early bird passes purchased! Not my favourite lineup by far but Bluesfest is always a good time.
  7. That was my favourite match so far this year (that I've seen). Jaaskelainen was a beast!
  8. I find this Hamilton story particularly amusing because I'm in the middle of Pete's autobiography. I don't think he's ever been much of a classy guy. At the same time, shoulder riding is a major peeve of mine at concerts so I probably would have applauded anyway.
  9. Here's a better article that provides a little more context: http://www.torontosun.com/2013/02/21/pete-townshends-f----off-breaks-young-fans-heart
  10. This is the camp I'm in. I think he meant to kick him with his skate but didn't actually intend to slice his achilles. It was a reckless play with dire consequences.
  11. Totes. Dear Sens, please start scoring.

    ugh

That sucks phistaper. We were lucky to catch the last show of the tour in Montreal. I was surprised to read the next morning that she was injured. I thought it was a great show, pretty much as phishtaper describes it above. The concert was only delayed about 30 minutes from the announced time so not too bad. Saw a few kids in the crowd but none of them were crying. Pretty tame audience overall, maybe because it was a Monday.
  13. Doing gumbo in the crockpot for the football game, and some cornbread to go along with it. Thinking of a nasty plate of beef nachos to go with Sens vs. Habs in the afternoon. Probably have a veggie plate hanging around to keep things honest.
  14. Another old demo has been unearthed...
  15. Paul MacClone Just look at what a cancelled season would have robbed us of.
  16. Great 3 periods! Much more structure from the Sens. Defense is looking good so far, although not really tested yet. Theodore was about the only good player for Florida. So much promise shown in this game. Increased presence by Turris, Latendresse on the body and with the wicked pass, Silfverberg back-checking and scoring his first (seeing eye) goal, dirty dog Jim O'Brien getting a goal and reminding us that Muckler made at least one good draft pick, Wiercoch with a wicked assist, Anderson with a shutout, Karlsson picking pockets, Alfie playing outside the box, Smith kicking ass, Methot fitting like a glove. Don't you wish you were a Sens fan?
