The super-awesome Kensington Market Festival of Lights marks the solstace tomorrow and since all of you have been such shining lights in my life of late, I'd like to invite you to a warm-up gathering at my place tomorrow afternoon. I'm hoping to get a whack of glowsticks and we can make shakers with rice and empty water bottles (if you can bring some, please do... there's only glass empties around here it seems!). This year's theme is "Peace Now" so bring on your best hippy duds and let's make some placards! Also don't forget to bring a portable coffee mug to fill with mulled cider or coffee & baileys
Send me a PM if you need the address or anything or if you want to meet up at the festival itself. Come on over anytime after 3:00pm - we'll head down around 5:45pm.
Cheers and happy solstace!
[color:red]P.S. if you are in Toronto, do NOT miss this event... last year there were over 100 fire dancers!!!
