    NERO FRIDAY

Or do the smart thing and come to Peterborough tonight and go straight to O-town tomorrow.
  2. Someone's got a little cake by their name today... hope you're having a good one Buddy Can't wait to hear the new stuff on Thursday.
  3. Jan 24th it is... I'll go for tix tomorrow. Alexitron - check Marginator - check Any other takers?
  4. I believe that's where we met, is it not Dr. EM? Still the most chill vibe I've found in T.O., those Monday night Gypsy-jams. And remember the live action before they built the stage? You could boogie it up right alongside the musicians Thanks to Geoff, Jay and eventually William for bringing me round this establishment so often. For those Gypsy-jammers still in the Tdot, keep the evening of Jan. 18th open for a small reunion of sorts; more to come on that.
  5. Wowzers. Just made it home after my one year O-town NYE anniversary. It certainly was a doozie, to say the least. I was so happy to see so many of you friendly, beautiful and hilarious folks and can't wait to revisit for NERO. Many thanks to BNB and the fine fellers of That Place, Champions of the Universe. Good times abound in your midst. Must sleep now. Cheers, Margaret
  6. Oh don't worry Deb, LARGE will look after him today no problem See you soon Paisley... Happy Birthday!!!
  7. Just hitting up the Lick-Bo... see y'all soon
  8. The super-awesome Kensington Market Festival of Lights marks the solstace tomorrow and since all of you have been such shining lights in my life of late, I'd like to invite you to a warm-up gathering at my place tomorrow afternoon. I'm hoping to get a whack of glowsticks and we can make shakers with rice and empty water bottles (if you can bring some, please do... there's only glass empties around here it seems!). This year's theme is "Peace Now" so bring on your best hippy duds and let's make some placards! Also don't forget to bring a portable coffee mug to fill with mulled cider or coffee & baileys Send me a PM if you need the address or anything or if you want to meet up at the festival itself. Come on over anytime after 3:00pm - we'll head down around 5:45pm. Cheers and happy solstace! [color:red]P.S. if you are in Toronto, do NOT miss this event... last year there were over 100 fire dancers!!! 9. Thanks for all the positive heady vibes kids... turns out my Grandfather passed away this afternoon. Puts things into an even broader perspective doesn't it? Wowzers, life never ceases to amaze with all it's twists and turns, does it? Make sure you're experiencing every moment folks and enjoying as many of them as you can... who knows what the fuck tomorrow might bring (or tonight for that matter!)
  10. We're well on the way to a good drunk-on at 1017... we may need to hit the dance floor at some point and ElMo's a short and wobblyu downhill bike ride from here. Any chance on discounts at the door for a bunch of jobless fucks?
  11. Finally lost my cush digs up on the 37th of Bay Street, overlooking ACC and beyond. My position is being "contracted out" as of last Friday I wouldn't have minded so much if it hadn't been for the way it all went down, being lured from my desk in the Investment Bank to be let go by a total stranger flown in from New York and then told that my manager would gather my coat and purse and meet me out in the hall. WTF?!? I've been there for seven years and I wasn't even allowed to say goodbuy to anyone, gather my things or even so much as finish the e-mail I'd been in the midst of composing!!! Ouch. Life in high finance I guess... [color:purple]there's such a major danger of corporate espionage from this under-cover party girl. So for now, I'm working on gaining the maximum severance package and am wondering what's next in the life of Margaret (or will it be the Marginator?). I'm up for any immediate travel/tour/visiting opportunities, should anyone feel like hanging out for a bit. I'm thinking my goal will be for an early 2007 employment opportunity and simply take a little much needed R&R between now and then. Of course I am legal to work in Canada and the U.K. should anyone know of any fabulous forthcoming opportunities. Or if I can get the amount of severance I'm after, maybe I can concentrate on living out the dream of Camp Skank for a while Anyway, major transitions going down in my own camp and I'm feeling a little lost, a little found. Good thing it's Friday again and I can pretend everything's normal for the next two days. That reminds me, it's almost time for a Cosmo
  12. Happy Happy Dad-i-o! What an awesome year it was... here's to plenty more good ones Peace & Love from the Marginator!!!
