Late response, but I just got home yesterday Amazing time this year... absolutely insane-o! From kegstands in a dress to limbo-ing under Gern's microphone and getting hit with a ball of Steelworking saliva in my eye, that was a rock and roll festival extraordinairre!!! Great line-up Shane, Mark et al!!! Nice to see so many new faces Gotta love them high school boys... I get older, they stay the same age! Sorry to hear about your Drum Sarahbelle. Have you called Rick to see if it's still there? Finally, I would kill to see a photo of me and Murphy wheeling Prost around on Monday... I know someone took some. Please let me know if it was you. That was one of the funniest moments of my life!

Got my tix for T.O.. Heard a rumour about a good show on Saturday as well so don't know if I'll make Detroit. HalloWEEN is going to kick some fucking ass in the Tdot this year!!! 1017 should be open to host visitors... I'll have to warn the new roommates. I will definitely be dressing up for the Docks Mama & Palace... what's the plan Ladies?!?

Should be there with Mr. Slippery at some point. GREAT food at this place... maybe best hummus in town

I spoke to the keyboard guy, the lights guy, and the merch guy... none of them even knew who booked their show (or seemed to care). I tried to suggest the Rivoli but they were all adamant that they liked the Mod club, even if it was empty. Guess they must have a guarantee. Anyway, they didn't seem put off by the low numbers. Mr. Hot Keys was like, "Dude, don't worry. We've played Toronto like 4 times now... we love it here". On a side note, the lights were in-fucking-sane! TOO MUCH!!! I thought I was going to have a seizure or something with all that stadium-intensity strobe action blasting me in the face the whole time. When I asked what the deal was, I was simply directed to the warning sign they posted on the door. On another side note, Ben, the bass player that I was givin 'er for all night, actually thanked me for my awesome dancing I was like, "if you want to thank me, come over here and give me some LOVE!" He conceded to a quick Marginator hug followed by a hasty retreat to the tour bus. *sigh*

This show was absolutely incredible. Too bad no one came. I've never seen the Opera House so empty. Good times nonetheless and, thanks to the Opera House's lame-o double-whammy concert, then club nights, plenty of time to get over to Grossman's afterward

Awww shucks! Thanks NewRider, et al. Seems the last couple of years have been a school of hard knocks for the ol' Marginator. Things haven't worked out with my job at the new ParticipACTION (which is being run by the coldest, most frustrating person I've ever had the pleasure of reporting to) and I find myself once again hopping on the unemployment band wagon. I've been beating myself up over personal stuff lately too. Nothing I need to talk about on here, but really, probably nothing I should be dwelling on out there either. The mind is a trap sometimes, it seems. I can't thank you folks enough for the random support I've been receiving from you all! From those of you accepting drunken-dials, to those showing up in the middle of the night with a nice long hug, to the many wonderful angels! who bailed me out on the weekend, to those of you with such sweet words on here; Thank You!!! From the all-night JSB rager on Friday, to grazing against the roof of Alexis' sweet new ride up to Oro#9, to face down on Livingstoned's deluxe air mattress on Monday morning, it didn't budge an inch!
