i'm one of those "come on come on come on you'll love it" people to my non show friends. most of them don't like it when they go...i don't feel guilty about them not liking it....but i do feel guilty for hating the fact that i feel like i have to then entertain them myself. i hate that babysitter feeling. i've just learned to let my various worlds exist seperately and actually enjoy that seperation now.

the weirdo fake accent the guy from the band sings in is actually what makes me like the music and smile when i hear it. and i'm pretty sure the only people who AREN'T increasingly emboldened by success are the dicks who were like that to begin with.

if the point is trying to get rid of road side distractions...how about removing the GIANT TV SCREENS from the gardiner? i think that might be a better place to start. when i see something marking where a fatal car accident has occured, it doesn't make me sad, it makes me cautious. i don't get depressed driving by a cemetary, why one of those?

who's going to which shows? i'm trying to arrange transportation to guelph...i'll be in hamilton and toronto. for all you out of towners who never come to hamilton cause there's no place to stay (you know who you are) my place will be rockin and there's lots of crash space...even isolated crash space for people who like to sleep.

i actually enjoy answering market research calls. i always read stats from them in articles and think "how can that many people think that?! i don't think that" and get frustrated. when they call and i can answer and have my opinion heard it makes me feel less frustrated when i see those stupid stats. as far as the quebec as a nation thing goes...i'm in the "this again? seriously?" group over here smoking bowls on the couch. i can't think about it anymore than that or i'll cause some serious grey hair.

i'd have to disagree with you on that one. but i do hope that he doesn't play too many silly foo foo whiney songs.

oooo joel plaskett.....he's good. jacksoul is poopy. don't waste your time. but plaskett is very good. don't know if it's worth a night in the cold for a few songs though. he's playing in hamilton on monday if you're up for the trip. you can also check out some tracks on his website www.joelplaskett.com OR you could go back in time and watch a zellers commercial from the summer, one of his songs was in the background.

hey brian...if you want something to do friday come check out the golden dogs...there's some bald dude on tv telling me they're the hottest live act in canada right now! and on saturday i'm heading into the city to catch moses mayes. that'll be a better night than friday if you're saving your party for just one night...which i know you tend to do. pussy.
