i've never been to an evolve, but i'll be going this year for sure. i have no idea who the brazilian girls are...seen the name, never seen them though. i am SUPER stoked to see that 1 guy up there though. i thought i'd never have the chance to see him again. there aren't a lot of big "oh my god i can't believe they're playing" bands on that list of headliners, but given the politics of what's going on...that makes me happy. less big bills to pay let's them pay back some, or hopefully all, of their debts. that makes business sense to me. as a fan, i'm hoping that the evolve vibe and the lessons learned in organization of an event; the bathrooms, the stages, the food, etc will carry through to this years musically toned down fest. thanks for trying again this year team evolve instead of letting it all go down in a blaze of fiscally irresponsible glory.

are you looking to write these ideas yourself, or just sell them? either way, i'd get an agent. i have a lit agent and because of that, i'm not feeling dread over finishing my work. it's entirely possible to do it without one and be successful, but i'd wager it's far easier with one...are you going to umphree's? we should talk about this there.

awwww thianks cully! I start on thursday, it's a family owned roofing company that's been in business for 20+ years, have 20-30 employees at any given time of the year. Really fast paced office, and they just keep growing, they're moving to a new office soon. It's right by my house, doing office admin type work with lots of room to rise up in the company if i so wish. Had the interview, and less than an hour later got the call asking me to start IMMEDIATELY! Frankly, i'm just really happy to have something with benefits that doesn't involve me preparing food for my paycheque. It's on plains rd in burlington, so close-ish to my house which is nice...30 min dive MAX. I'm a M-F 9-5 office whore once again! yey!!!

once, within the last 2 months i dreamt that for some reason i was going away for a week and needed someone to house/dog sit and i was at dimaflecks house talking about it and he was all "i'll house sit for you" and when i came home he'd burned the place down

welcome to the easiest computing years of your life dave-o! if you're having some problems figuring out how to do something....try and think of the easiest, simplest, right in front of your face way to do things, and that's probably how it's done. i believe that os/x does have a basic tutorial, and the help sections of the programs work great too.

So my friend...who started the "friends don't let friends facebook while intoxicated" group signed me up for facebook while intoxicated. anyways, i'm on there taking a look around, punching in random names from my past...type in the old "she was my beeeeeeeeeeeeest friend until she brutally stabbed me in the back in high school" friend and looked at her friends, and wow! i don't have to go to my highschool reunion anymore, i can see all those peeps right here. facebook is freakin crazy.
