Dennis
Well, I have been dusting off some old CDs in my collection, and happened upon a gem. My question is, what is your favourite (or you at least consider it a must-have) Canadian non-jam/improv/groove artist/album? AD
Canadian eh? Rheostatics are the only answer. But Eric's Trip's 'Love Tara' is right up there, as is Sloan's 'Twice Removed.' Hayden is always a good bet, as is hHead. I'll never forget the last hHead show in London at the Embassy where Jason (drummer) had rigged this huge bong into his bass drum and was hitting it hard for the whole show. 'Twas wicked fun. ad ps.. Scottie - you gonna be hitting any of the Toronto Rheos shows this week?

hamilton
One I forgot earlier: Greg Keelor - Gone You know how Jim Cuddy's solo stuff sounded like Blue Rodeo without Greg Keelor? Well, Greg Keelor solo album sounds *nothing* like Blue Rodeo. Great album for late night listening - very mellow, a real treat. Brian.
