Esau
From the SCI site: http://www.stringcheeseincident.com/htnews1.htm See tour dates page for some, but not all, of SCI‚s summer tourdate revisions. This is not the complete summer tour but we wanted to post what is confirmed thus far. Stay tuned next week for details and on-sale information for SCI's final summer tour routing.Sounds more like they are just working out the tour better then actually cancelling any shows, revisions aren't always cancelling shows,at least to me anyway, although I could be wrong (its SCI for christs sake),there isn't any mention of dates in Canada being cancelled at all. bouche
This notice is certainly strange as well. It's the same location as the AMMF which was honestly, the best venue for a music festival I have ever seen. However, it looks like we'll never see a music festival there any time soon. "At this time we also regret to inform you that The String Cheese Incident has pulled out of the Secluded Forest Music Festival lineup. The band is concerned about fans' safety & at this point, we are not convinced that ticket buyers will be taken care of in the manner that they should be by the festival organizers. Despite the promoters placing him in their advertisements, Keller Williams was never confirmed to perform at the Secluded Forest Music Festival in Lyonsdale, NY. bouche
I had an email exchange with Madisson House. It's official, SCI won't be playing Ottawa. Such a shame. Lollapaloser screwed alot of things up for everyone. I was looking forward to the show here. There probably won't be any Canadian dates on this tour. AdamH
Chumps. Of course getting their facking coke whores over the border was probably the issue to begin with, so maybe we could all be a little more sensitive about this? <Insert Esau's rolling-eye icons>
paisley
hows abouts we talk String Cheese into calling it quits instead of Phish and then bring Phish back up to Canada?

Jay Funk Dawg
Looks like there will be no String Cheese Incident Canadian Dates. I was talking to Michael Kang, and they are sorry that the dates can't happen, but they'll make it up to us during their fall tour.
