I agree - The Ho in Canmore is always a blast, great energy in Canmore, but Stephen Franke requires not leaving town. Blue Quarter will probably be easier to catch in your area than Stephen Franke, considering they're a Canmore local. Stephen Franke and NFTT would be my choice - I've been emailing some friends from Calgary recommending this show. Cheers.
c-towns
Well, Grand THeft Bus is in Canmore for 2 nights so i'll catch the Friday show for sure, then its up in the air, I won't be able to catch the bus for at least another year i'm sayin and the others will be sooner than that for sure. Velvet
Similar problem in Ottawa tonight. George Thorogood, Franke, and The Skanks all competing.
bradm
Similar problem in Ottawa tonight. George Thorogood, Franke, and The Skanks all competing. Actually, Thorogood is scheduled for an 8:30pm start, and I think there are two opening bands (Sandstorm and The Screaming Monkeys) for Franke, so it'd be possible to see Thorogood, and make Franke at Dekcuf. Alternately, if you wanted to Bluesfest and Irene's, you might miss The Skanks (or might not), but you'd at least be there in time for Bullmoose. Aloha, Brad

Stoolshed
Hey folks. Chris here from NFTT. The gig in Calgary is in limbo right now. We think that the Ironwood has closed abruptly. Please contact the venue to confirm any show which may or may not happen. As disappointing as it is to lose this gig, its good to know there's a few of you in cow-town ready to come out the next time we play. We should be back again in November. Check the website for further info: www.stephenfranke.ca . Peace
