I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have found a role (or niche) in which I can combine my love of music with my technological ability to produce something that allows an experience to be re-created (for those who were there) and shared (for those who weren't there). And as a taper, I thank all the artists (and promoters, and venues, and soundpeople) who both allow taping and trading/sharing to occur and who put on shows that are worth taping and trading/sharing; that symbiosis astounds and delights me. Esau Posted November 10, 2004 Report Share Posted November 10, 2004 Yes a huge cheers to the tapers out there for taking the time & soberity to do all that.This also includes a couple friends of mine who may not tape much anymore,but they still have their library of 1st gen cassettes they recorded and the trust they have in lending them to be transfered to CDR.
