Starting out as jazz quintet, FlattStreet is quickly emerging as a rockin', funkadelic improvisational ensemble of Hamilton's modern music scene. Generally, FlattStreet is a 5-piece group with 2 horns (trumpet + sax), bass, guitar and drums. The ever amazing Sarah provides her own brand of vocalism to create a final layer on top of their energy rich shows.

Fusing a mish-mash of influences and styles, Cape Breton's Slowcoaster creates irresistibly catchy songs which are both honestly written and undeniably danceable. The music is a fusion of funk and reggae, with hints of rock, jazz, hip-hop and even afro-Cuban rythyms forming a distinctively original sound.

Electric Meat was formed in early 2003 and is quickly emerging as an exciting new jamband in the Toronto area. The group has an extensive repertoire of original material as well as a unique slate of rarely-heard covers. Styles that seep through in the groups unique repertoire include country, blues, funk, reggae, progressive rock, electronica, and of course, classic rock. In their short existence the group has already developed a unique language of improvisation that keeps their shows fresh and their audiences dancing for hours.
