Del
Mark Knopfler is good and all, but not $70 good... Certainly not $120 good... Have fun...
Cully
I have been listening to a lot of Mark Knopfler lately, and all I can say is that his sweet guitar sound is one of the best around. The ticket price is way too much, but man it is almost worth it!!
Velvet
I just heard about this today from one of my students. IN! And a bonus is all the seats in that room are great, so the cheap seats are the same as the good 'uns.
Booche
I am so in, it's sick. (Velvet, I have been listening to so much 'later-day' Dire Straits lately........this is a dream!) I am so hoping Elvis is home when Mark calls him............

Booche
Knopfler has riffs come out of his ass non-stop and each one is gorgeous. That is all I gotta say. Money For Nothing is a perfect example.
bouche
$120 seems to be the standard for anything these days at sh!tty huge venues like the Corel Center. The NAC is exactly the place I'd pay $120 for a music ticket. However, I think I'm too broke for this If it was Prince, I'd sell a few things. Pablo Sanchez
I would definitely like to see this one. Saw him last time he was in town at the corel centre and the show was great but the sound was just awful. I actually made the decision never to go back there for a concert after that. Velvet
Did we go to that one together Dr. Sanchez?
Pablo Sanchez
We sure did. Remember when the acordian player was taking his "big solo" and rocking out really hard and we couldn't hear him at all. That was funny... and sad.... I mean how often do you get to hear someone take a "big bitchen solo" on an accordian?
Velvet
Yeah, I remember that. Luckily we weren't on the floor. Doug was and he said down there he couldn't hear the guitar.
TimmyB
I might have to make my way up to Ottawa to see this gig. Though I think I'm going to wait to see if their is a Toronto date first. I saw Mark Knopfler's last tour at Massey Hall and it was one of the best shows I have ever seen in my life. To me it's well worth the $120 and then some. Booche
Tickets are now onsale. I just grabbed a seat in the AMPH, Row F. Frig, that had better be the most I ever have to spend on a ticket but this seemed like a cant-miss for me. I love Mark.
