yeah, its a pretty small room for The New Deal... unless you manage to get up front your sightlines kinda suck... last time was rough as non-dancing people crowded to the front then just stood there staring and giving dirty looks to anyone who was trying to dance near them... basically blew the dancing for everyone (and sorry, I go see tND to dance... not much to sing along to)

really nice club for smaller shows though

June 3rd tND sounds good to me and saves me worrying... thank you discussion board

Morning comes, she follows the path to the river shore

Lightly sung, her song is the latch on the morning's door

See the sun sparkle in the reeds; silver beads pass into the sea

She comes from a town where they call her the woodcutter's daughter

She's brown as the bank where she kneels down to gather her water

And she bears it away with a love that the river has taught her

Let it flow, greatly flow, wide and clear

Round and round, the cut of the plow in the furrowed field

Seasons round, the bushels of corn and the barley meal

Broken ground, open and beckoning to the spring; black dirt live again

The plowman is broad as the back of the land he is sowing

As he dances the circular track of the plow ever knowing

That the work of his day measures more than the planting and growing

Let it grow, let it grow, greatly yield

Chorus

What shall we say, shall we call it by a name

As well to count the angels dancing on a pin

Water bright as the sky from which it came

And the name is on the earth that takes it in

We will not speak but stand inside the rain

And listen to the thunder shout

I am, I am, I am, I am

So it goes, we make what we made since the world began

Nothing more, the love of the women, work of men

Seasons round, creatures great and small, up and down, as we rise and fall

[chorus]

I don't hate The Casbah, it's a fine place to see a show and Brodie is an A++ contributor to the local music scene, so I don't mean disprespect. I was a bit harsh yesterday.

I'm just an ornery old fuck who wants things to be perfect all the time. My ears are gettin on in life, kind of like paan's balls.

Yeah yeah, thanks Mike for calling in and chatting this morn.

Show is tonight! Excited. When the hell did April 29th happen? I feel like it should still be late February. Well, all it means is that spring is that much closer. Hope it will be nice enough to leisurely enjoy a fine ale or two on the Pepper Jack patio. See you all there.

HEY GUMBY MAYBE YOU SHOULD CHECK OUT THE FIRST FREAKING POST IN THIS THREAD! GET YOUR DAMN HAIR OUTTA YER EYES AND SMARTEN UP ASSCLOWN!!!!

HEY MARCO: GET BENT! HAVE YOU BEEN TOLD YET TODAY?

I'm curious as to when the music actually will start not when the bar opens. I'd be broke if I sat there drinking from as soon as the doors open.

Hey MD, what's the taping policy? Perhaps I'll bring along my laptop and record the show.
