TomFoolery
That's kinda crazy. Here comes Yngwy Malmsteen II.Someone's gotta go and give that kid a dose of soul music and put him on the right track...
bradm
"Too many notes, my dear Mozart..."He needs a tone transplant, too.He may possess great guitar playing skills, but he shows nothing in the way of musicianship.Aloha,Brad
Jaimoe
The kid's only 8. He has loads of time to develop into a rounded musician. Of course, you can't teach soul... and I'm looking your way Malmsteen.

bouche
[color:purple]First of all...the kid has NO stage presence.Secondly, where does he get time to play vids? I could probably kick his ass at HL2 Deathmatch anyday.I do wonder as he gets older, if he'll ever be able to fit any more notes in there. Are those 32nd or 64th notes? Jaimoe
The kid obviously likes Di Meola and/or Alan Holdsworth. There's a fine line between soulless shredding and substance.
Esau
The kids a pretty crazy player for eight. That's kinda crazy. Here comes Yngwy Malmsteen II.Well,if so he better get a guitar player turned keyboard player for his band to cover his mistakes. When I saw ACDC @ MLG (Fly on the wall tour) yawnsteen opened, man it was bad.I read ( I believe it was an interview with the first disgruntled keyboard player he had)later in years the reason his heavy metal band had a keyboard player was to cover any obvious "misses" he would encounter trying to play as fast as he did. bouche
as cool as that is, I really hate that kind of guitar playing.
Jaimoe
I used to like Al Di Meola and Alan Holdsworth and I still get quite a thrill listening to shredders, but technical over style and melody gets boring really quick.

Jaimoe
Maybe he could be the next Randy Rhodes, a musician who successfully bridged classical with metal guitar.
