Steeped in Muskoka’s rich music tradition of acoustic folk, blues and rock improvisation, The Lose Yer Shoes Folkadelic Festival celebrates its 10th year as one of the region’s most anticipated events of the summer. Embodying a fun, peaceful and free camping atmosphere, Lose Yer Shoes is a not-for-profit festival that celebrates music, life and dance on the weekend of August 12 -14 at the full service and picturesque Granite Ridge Wilderness Campgrounds in Kearney, Ontario.

The 10th Anniversary Lose Yer Shoes Folkadelic Festival headliners include Juno award winning troubadour Willie P. Bennett, dreamy acoustic songsmith Katherine Wheatley, Canadian touring roots-rock quartet Burt Neilson Band and returning for the 10th consecutive year is Toronto’s folk and blues stalwarts Caution Jam.

Founded by Eric Johnson and Tom Kremer; local musician friends who coined the term “Folkadelia.” The Lose Yer Shoes Folkadelic Festival has championed the mix of traditional roots music with blues, rock and jazz influences while maintaining an intimate grassroots friendly and family camping experience.

Canada's most original and rewarding songwriters..."

Helen Metella, Edmonton: "perfect little gems of melody... he's in communion with beautiful tunes..."

Greg Quill, Toronto: "Willie's magic works. It draws you in... the stuff of his own life and not just facile romance."
