badams Posted August 16, 2005 Report Share Posted August 16, 2005 Rumour has it that the Leafs management are looking at the 2006 season as they will have more money to buy & trade than the teams that bought this year...yah, I know, rumours are just that... The way things are going there will be very few free agents next year. Most of the better young talent have signed multi year deals or are in the process of doing so. From Sunday's column:The Flyers signed Forsberg for $5.7 million US a year. The Leafs signed Lindros, Allison, Jeff O'Neill and Alexander Khavanov for $5.7 million.
