\/\/illy
So you were at the ABB @ JLC last night were you? How did it compare to the Molson Amphitheatre show? Was Chuck Leavell still guesting with the band on keyboards? It was another great show. The sound was better although still not perfect. No Chuck Leavell on keys but they did have Susan Tedeschi come out and sing one song and they had a guy filling in on sax too. All in all, it was a great show. Northern Wish
A Tale of Two Bands..........Rocking!moe.Set I: Not Coming Down> Wormwood> St. Augustine> Okayalright> GoneDown BoyCrab EyesSheKarma PoliceBrent BlackKick ass opening set. We got in before they even started and kicked it right down onto the railing, until we got "asked" to move due to "several complaints". I will leave all further complaints about venue staff out, because if I was in NB I would never have seen this show. Karma was a little weak starting, but they pulled it together nicely. Not too many inside for this, but the sound was fat and the song selection was just what I wanted.ABBSetlist anyone? The band cooked. I got Whipping Post, despite doubting it would be played for the second night in a row. Don't Think Twice was nice. I think One Way Out was my musical highlight of the evening. The true highlight was just being back in SoOn, seeing all of the skanks out representing. I remember seeing Whitey, Willy, backbacon, mk, swan, JK of Jomomma, Jeff Kornblum, number2, and some others. Guigsy gets skank of the year for having all of the out of towners over for pre, post and crash parties. Now if I could only figure out how to get him to Evolve!Sean
Swan
It was a great show last night. Nice to see so many people out over the last couple of days. I prefered moe.'s performance last night over TO. Crab Eyes and Brent Black kicked some serious ass. That apartment is always one of my favourite places to party at. I take it the new neighbours in #1 don't mind the riff raff.

backbacon
ABB in london was AWESOME!! What a powerhouse of a band!! So surprised and delighted to get a Whipping Post and Jessica. I hope to see abb for many years to come.Got in in time to see some moe. Good enough to begin with... really got into some jams towards the end. The most I've enjoyed a moe. show since my first time seeing them in '01 at the Warehouse and the two opening slots since. I hope ABB come back to London again. I like that theater setup. Cozy. Our section was fuckin givin'er good! Great after party at buddy's place with a camp fire. Almost forgot to call in sick... "Oh no, it's totally bright out... what time is it, I have to call in. Phew, only 6:15. Hey boss, I'm feeling horrible and won't be making it in today. I'll see you on Friday. Okay then, have a good night. I mean day." click. Ooops. partied til noon.. napped on the lawn til 2 30. went downtown and chilled with guigs all afternoon! Super trip to London yet again!
Jaimoe
What was the attendance like in London? Enough to warrant a return engagement?
guigsy
What was the attendance like in London? Enough to warrant a return engagement?hahahahahahahaha... uhhh... no.i'd be surprised as shit if they returned to london. either of them.3500 seat theatre, i'd guestimate 2000 - 2500 in attendance. everyone in the place was in their seats, except camp chatham in the corner and a few other scanks and random people scattered throughout..
