Guest Low Roller
It's almost not fair to give Booche that much of an opening. His head might explode from all the possible burns.

Whitey
It was a great win last night. Belfour played a great game. Gotta love the play of Kyle Wellwood and Alex Steen. Go Leafs Go!!!
Jaimoe
It was an entertaining no-hitter of a game last night. The Leafs actually deserved the win for a change.

Booche
I'll take the wide-open free-wheeling fast-skating 80's style of hockey ANY day over the slow-down drudge-style slug-fest from recent memory.
Jaimoe
I will too, but I like watching good hits and freewheeling hockey.

Jaimoe
Lindros was good, but the Leafs would be nowhere without McCabe so far this year - neither would I in the hockey pool.
Jakis
wait for the sens and hab fans to join the thread and talk about how mcCabe is no good on defense. Edited November 18, 2005 by Guest
badams
wait for the sens and hab fans to join the thread and talk about how mcCabe is no good on defense. He's not but as long as he keeps putting up the point s he is valuable in that way. Jakis
I disagree. Put McCabe on the sens or canadians and he would have a much better plus rating. Put Redden on the Leafs i dont think his plus/minus rating would be very good. Also, look at his partner, karble, who is very offensive minded also. Also most of his points are on the powerplay. When hes on the ice for a powerplay goal it does not raise his plus/minus. I think on a better team he would be viewed as a good defensive defenseman as well. AD
mccabe and belfour are definitely the keys to the leafs success this year. without them i think their record would be much lower.but i would never pick them in any hockey pool, nor will i say that i particularly like anything about either one of them.they belong in toronto, that's for sure.ad

AD
Yup, definitely glad Ottawa got rid of that jackass. Not sure if you were trying to make a dig at Ottawa, I'm sure every Sens fan will agree with you there...AD

Hal Johnson
The leafs win cause Quin's figured out a way to bore the other teams to death.
Whitey
Pat Quinn's teams have been playing this style of hockey for a while now. The Leafs were a high scoring, fast skating team, but everyone else was playing the trap.
Whitey
I like that Bryan McCabe has 8 goals and 19 assists and leads the league in power play points with his great shot from the point. We are happy to have him in Toronto and so will Canada in February.
Hal Johnson
I kinda agree with ya. I think they have a high scoring, fast skating team, but Quinn doesnt utilize it much. Maybe if he didnt spread his lines so thin...
