MarcO
The Grateful Dead - 11-08-85 (This second set is as good as I remember it from 15 years ago, and I only knew the tape)That is a ridiculous show, just bright and shiny 1985 Dead - simultaneously harmonious and coked off-base; nervous and frayed. That second set was lodged in my car deck for many happy journeys!

peipunk
OK, I'll bite: Gnarls Barkley-St Elsewhere I saw a clip of them performing "Crazy" at some MTV awards show fully decked out in Star Wars costumes. I was intrigued, downloaded the album, now I am going to buy it. P.S. here's the clip: gnarls live "crazy" The Flaming Lips- At War With The Mystics I can't get enough of Mr. Ambulance Driver, and am greatly amused by the obvious Floyd nod in "Pompeii AM Gotterdammerung". Production is of course majestic and stellar. Steely Dan- The Royal Scam First Steely album that I fully digested. If you know, you know. This one's for Hamilton, if noone else, he knows. Kev's Cuts Vol. 18 has been a staple in the car for the last month, great mix. Wilco- A Ghost is Born Getting amped up for the show in Fredricton next week, Wilco in the Maritimes! I am thrilled.
