MarcO
I still prefer the Daily Show.Colbert is hilarious, no doubt, but he gets a bit tiresome after a while.
Davey Boy 2.0
he was on conan the other day, showed a different side to his personality... rooted in geekdom is how i'd put itfunny stuff though, conan was a bit of a bitch i thought
Davey Boy 2.0
i'm pretty pumped to see lewis black's show- not sure when that's debuting- i just hope it doesn't give him a heart condition
scottieking
Or how about last night, when we got BOTH on the Daily Show?Anybody see this, with Colbert showing up to "force" an apology to Geraldo from Jon?It was great fun to see Stephen back in his "old" spot again.I love both and think that it is becoming a bit of an apples and oranges situation. Colbert is more of a character satire with risque edge whereas Stewart has almost transformed into a legitimate news critic and proveyer of the obsure.I love both. afro poppa
Colbert and Stewart manage to always make me laugh. In different ways, Stewart makes light of the news and is funny, but Colbert is edgy and really over opiniated while making light of the news...but I guess stewart is too....both great shows. Freak By Night
I agree with scottieking, both shows are tied for #1 IMHO.
The Chameleon
I agree with scottieking, both shows are tied for #1 IMHO. I second that...they both rock.I love colbert's ultra right wing send up that even makes the most right wing look stupid in his wake.
Alexis
i like both...with colbert a bit ahead until i saw him play some document forger on a repeated law and order episode a few weeks ago. i can't get the "mommy you never loved me so i turned into a forger to rip off the charity you gave my bike to" look in his eyes when he was caught outta my head when i see him. can't take the non serious news seriously anymore. good actor tho. MarcO
I just discovered Law & Order a year and a bit ago. It's like the world went from black & white to full colour. It is the gift that keeps on giving.
Nitro Compression
Colbert has a podcast I think as well. I just downloaded it last night but I have not tuned in yet. Edited August 15, 2006 by Guest

Hartamophone
Personally, I find Colbert gets old in a hurry. The O'Reilly spoof was funny at first, but it's become tiresome. Also, I find his interviews derivative and dull: I can only watch his sophomoric attempts at making other people look stupid so many times before I become completely unentertained. To each his own, though.
