Kanada Kev
Bruins back in the series ... same with NJ winning tonight too.Damn, that was one helluva game to watch. Those guys should be bloody exhausted. Can't blame price on the goal at all either. On to the sea of red in Calgary now ...
AD
Can't blame price on the goal at all either. well, he failed to impede the progress of the puck as it broke the plane of the goal line, as is the sole task in his job description. Careful not to anoint him prematurely
Guest Low Roller
Price was outstanding last night as he did everything right. Tim Thomas wasn't bad either, but definitely not as tested as Price. It would seem that Boston has finally figured out how to play against the Habs, and have effectively neutralized their PP with very tight coverage on the point and jamming everyone else in front of the net to create maximum traffic without screening Thomas. They have shut down Montreal's speed very effectively as well. Higgins, Ryder, and Plekanec have all been invisible this series, which also doesn't help. Boston deserved the last two games, thankfully they only got one. Carbs will have to find a way to bust through that defence. I fell asleep during at the intermission before OT. Probably for the best because I avoided the shattering disappointment of my team losing, however I hear that Montreal had their chances in OT. GO HABS GO!! badams
The Bruins deserved that game and they came to play. The Habs had a couple of great chances in OT but Thomas was up to the job.Looking forward to game 4.
Booche
Thomas looked like he wasnt going to let anything in and MTL's powerplay is killing them right now.
badams
Thomas looked like he wasnt going to let anything in and MTL's powerplay is killing them right now.Thomas was the hero last night. You are right about the PP. The Habs need to take advantage of those chances.
Guest Low Roller
Montreal has two plays on their PP:1- Shot from the point by Streit2- Kovalev one timer from the right faceoff circle. Both are set-up by Markov. The Bruins have effectively shut down both options, by keeping real tight coverage on Streit, Markov, and Kovalev, and allow the other two players to scramble for position to receive the rebound, guessing correctly that they won't instigate the initial shot. Muller needs to come up with a new play rather quickly. The Habs are 1-for-MANY in this series and it is killing them as Booche pointed out. badams
1 for 17 is not where they should be. Here's hoping they can turn tht around and if not they need to beat the Bruins 5 on 5.
Kanada Kev
Mix it up a bit on the PP. Cycle Kovalev over to the left side for his one-timer. Maybe he could get open and score like he did on that beauty in Game 2.
Hal Johnson
Canadiens played like ass last night. Boston gave it all they had. Habs will pick it up next game.
Guest Low Roller
Lucic played like he was posessed. I was well impressed by him.The Habs rookies will have to find that 'next gear' that they never realized they had.
rubberdinghy
They seemed to get reg season scoring from the other lads on the PP as well...Koivu, A-tits, S-tits, Higgins, Plekanec...Why aren't those guys producing either? They do have PP depth and think it's more than just the top PP line. Tissue Man
Lack of Koivu is hurting the PP and the team right now. they are still in control, bound to lose a game sometime. hopefully this will wake them up. how could you not let your guard down against a team you just beat 12 times in a row. GO HABS GO!
Tissue Man
I hope O'byrne steps in next game. I thought he would be in there last night for brisebois. brisebois is playing good but right now they need a guy in there who is gonna throw some big hits. knock that lucic cack on his arse.. peipunk
I am OK with this loss. It gives us one more game for the fans in Montreal to go to and for us to watch! Edited April 14, 2008 by Guest
Booche
1 for 17 is not where they should be.Nor should they be relying on the 4th line to get them goals.

Booche
Here's a couple of pictures before the prime rib was served on Saturday night. Once again, my wife totally rocks. (yelling from opposite rooms) Booche: Honey, we are bringing the dining room table to the basement so we can watch the game over dinner. Douglas: Sure thing babe! Looks like all I needed on my plate was beer. Ole, ole ole ole. Ole. Ole. Kids. Always listen to your coaches. Unless its Don Cherry.

AD
Elliot Friedman is such a tool. That's twice he's said that the singer dude always does a great job. The guy is the worst I've ever heard. Is he dead and re-animated? Probably.
ollie
Rene Rancourt is the best anthem singer in the first round. And the musical flourish at the end of The Star Spangled Banner is truly satisfying.
