As far as I know, Diesel Dog have never actually COMMERCIALLY RELEASED this cover, nor has BNB commercially released their cover of Papa Was a Rolling Stone, nor the Fat Cats doing Groove is In The Heart, nero doing Hey You.... etc etc.So if you want to stick to the theme, I guess it's gotta be a collection of 12 songs covered by Canadian jambands and perceived by at least one person to be better than the original. So, you'd be looking to list the original artist and the tune and then paranthesize the band doing the cover.
