Since I was sharing this with Kev0, I figured I may as well post it publicly in case some of ya'll are interested.

This was a surprise show in an 1000 person venue the night before Bob played the GM Place with Joni & Van.

Easily, one of my favourite Dylan shows I've ever attended.

I'm hoping my Mac will be able to deal with the rar files - I've never tried.

I believe that stuffit expander opens rar files on Macs.

Heres the next installment. I'm going try to pick a show each week and post it.

This is a great sounding recording (volume has been corrected) from the 78 tour. The 'Shelter from the storm' really sticks out in this one for me. If your not a fan of 'At Budokan' you'll probally want to let this one go by, the whole tour that year had pretty much the same band and sound.

Review : http://bobsboots.com/CDs/cd-n28.html

This show has been released several times, but each previous release seemed to have some type of flaw in the sound quality and/or overall package. Crystal Cat has brought everything together for this wonderful package. Packed full with images captured from the video, CC then adds a couple of great photos of its own. It was released at the end of 1994, and then re-released in 1995. The discs themselves, are the standard CC montage. Perhaps it's nerves, but Dylan rushes through the first three tracks as if he's hyping himself up to dive into the mosh pit. When he sees that the young crowed is becoming relaxed, and respectful of him, he settles into a normal rhythm. The songs are performed with power, and this soundboard recording captures them in all their perfection.

This is one CD in two parts, just download both files and unpack the rar files, then put all the files into one folder.

The music files are FLAC so you'll have to uncompress them to the format of your choice to burn to the CD. Tracks are not tagged, just numbered.

Review: http://www.bobsboots.com/CdS/cd-n04.html

These recordings are from the famous sessions with Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins that produced the Girl Of The North Country version that was released on Nashville Skyline. All takes are great sound quality, but the material is loose, and nothing would pass the scrutiny of an official release. The most interesting thing is hearing Dylan sing harmony with Johnny. Rarely does one ever get an opportunity to hear Dylan as a backup singer. The first track was released on a Johnny Cash video entitled Johnny Cash, The Man And His Music. No other tracks were released from this session. The final three tracks are from the Johnny Cash Show. Recorded at The Ryman on May 1, 1969, the show was aired on ABC TV on June 7, 1969.

This CD is mp3. All tracks tagged, text file and CD artwork included.
