Northern Wish
I want nothing more than to see my team play at least one game this year. This would require them winning the next two against Anaheim.I figure the Ottawa fans will support this due to the fact that Detroit is at least in the Eastern Time Zone. Or to watch Hasek go down in flames which ever you prefer. Its game 6 tonight and I need some help out there..... Screw Jiggy!GO WINGS GO!GO WINGS GO!GO WINGS GO!GO WINGS GO!GO WINGS GO!GO WINGS GO!GO WINGS GO!GO WINGS GO!GO WINGS GO!GO WINGS GO!GO WINGS GO!GO WINGS GO!GO WINGS GO!GO WINGS GO!GO WINGS GO!GO WINGS GO!GO WINGS GO!GO WINGS GO!GO WINGS GO!GO WINGS GO!Seanps. Kanada Kev
LOL .... love that tumbling tumbleweed I should be cheering for Detroit, but I can't stand the thought of Hasek hoisting that Cup again is yucky. Plus, the two CBC stations that I work for could be in the finals (Ottawa and Windsor ... you know, it's a suburb of Detroit )
ollie
I still don't know who I want to win this series but I do want it to go 7 games so you have my support tonight.

Blane
my god hasek is brutal. any time there's a scamble in front of his net he lies on his back and pretends to be a starfish.
ollie
I noticed that too. He also gets caught up in his own d-men in that position.

Northern Wish
That was at least interesting in the 3rd. If they had played like that for even 40 minutes it would be going back to Hockeytown.I chewed the shit out of my nails in 15 minutes!Go Sens Go? dave-O
I mean seriously, you used a vibe request on a hockey score? Obviously you cursed the Wings and are solely to blame for their demise.
Kanada Kev
my god hasek is brutal. any time there's a scamble in front of his net he lies on his back and pretends to be a starfish. That's his "style". I've always disliked it. I think that he as a dramatically overrated goalie. He's had a career with some amazing statistics, but i don't think he's as good as he's made out to be. Last night was much more of a reality. When the team in front of him fails, it's rare for him to steal a game for his team.

ollie
Hasek is too old for that style. It used to work but not anymore. Do you think he retires?
AD
he retired once already, why not do it again?
Kanada Kev
Word is that Hasek and Chelios will be back in Detroit next year.http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/playoffs2007/columns/story?columnist=burnside_scott&id=2879817 Edited May 23, 2007 by Guest

Northern Wish
Thanks for the chat guys.......... Next year? I really don't know. Hasek looked admittedly brutal last night, but he looks the exact same when he stops 36 shots and wins 2-0.It was a good run boys, that was fun.
