Basher
I always find that Canada Computers has consistently low prices on these things.
jaybone
Costco had some really low prices on Mybook 500g before Christmas.
bouche
there were some wicked deals at Futureshop over boxing day. There's still a deal on this comstar 1/2 terabyteI found the best way to go, is to just buy the biggest drive you can afford with an enclosure. but if you can find a deal on a trekstor, or other branded external drive, go for it. Kanada Kev
^^^^ I was looking at that one. I really like the RJ45 feature on some of them. I want to have one where I can store music/movies/backups that operates as a network drive. Big advantage, it's on all the time and you don't have to have any of the computers on 24/7 to access data to a media centre on the network. That Comstar one seems to have some poor reviews for doing what I mentioned above Great as a USB drive thous supposedly.
bONES
I have an external cd burner that I have used like once or twice (seriously). I don't know if anyone actually burns to cdr anymore (I sure as hell don't), but if anyone wants it they can have it for free. It was a waste of my money and is taking up room on my bookshelf.
