Barack Obama is going to hold a huge rally in San Francisco with the surving members of the Grateful Dead (sans Billy Kreutzmann). It's a get out the vote rally, and it's set to occur Monday night. The tickets will sell-out immediately for sure. Obama has already played with Macy Gray and Wilco. Now the Grateful Dead. He certainly does have the rock and roll business on his side. Does that mean he's hip?This is a rather small diary, but I'm so happy to see the candidate I'm supporting doing a gig with the band I loved so much over the years, I can't help it.Ready To Go!GO OBAMA!LinkyCHINA RIDER FOR CHANGE!I, personally, am filing this under the "doubtful but possible" category. It was created by will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas and Jesse Dylan (son of Bob), inspired by Barak Obama’s “Yes We Can†speech.Dylan and will.i.am say they did not coordinate the production or release of this video with the Obama campaign and the filmmakers say they don’t even know if Obama is aware of the video.
