Jay Funk Dawg
BIG VIBEZ FOR THE NUFUNK FESTIVAL!! The winter blahs were cured over the past two weeks as the NUFUNK FESTIVAL swept through town. The combination of the cutting edge headliners of the !st Annual Festival (Bonobo, Mat The Alien, GregJ & Charlie Hunter Trio) with budding local talent (Elizabeth Shepherd Trio, Chameleon Project, iNSiDEAMiND, High Plains Drifter, King Sunshine & Big League Chu) found the festival's audience deep inside Toronto's Music Community. George Clinton himself also stopped through town to prove that the funk is definitely alive in Toronto. Big thank you to all the fans who came and supported this project. bONES
It's true..I've become an an old, lazy, non-partier when it comes to going out to shows.I just can't seem to muster up the energy to care about the music anymore..or at least go out to hear it live.In my defense I do work 6 days/week and 2 nights/week, so by the time Saturday night rolls around I'm pretty spent!
