Kanada Kev
My deepest sympathies to you in these hard times. Like many others here, I feel for you and understand how hard it is. For all the love and affection that your companion gave to you over the years, remember that he got all of that from you as well. Nobody wants to suffer and hurt. You did the right thing in easing the pain for a loved one. Thoughts are with you.
Esau.
Wow, thanks everyone. I just needed to vent/release yesterday, it was a really rough day for me. Can't remember the last time I felt that way, nor do I want to recall it. The thought of Hud being in pain, or even prolonging his problems because I didn't want to let go just wouldn't have been fair. Here's a pic of Hud from last summer at Buckhorn Lake, sportin his white beard & eyebrows. Anyway, again thanks for all the kind words & for letting me vent, reading it all today made me feel better. Phishtaper: Thanks for the laugh. Very much appreciated.
