Booche
DaveO and I are going to be scrapping come September 21st. Realistically we should go to Buffalo while the wives babysit. Isnt that what the NFL is all about?

SmoothedShredder
So Chad Johnson legally changed his name to Chad Javon Ocho Cinco. Why am I not surprised.
Whitey
Does anyone know if Chad Johnson switched his number? I thought I heard that he switched his number to 99. Not sure though.
SmoothedShredder
I hadn't heard that yet... but he did put a sticker over his jersey with his new name, and Carson Palmer ripped it off... Ocho then proceeded to injure his shoulder and conveniently missed the rest of the preseason... promising to be ready for the opener. This guy will be a Raider by October. Booche
I could be wrong here but I think I read (or dreamt along the way) that Ocho Cinco means 85 in Spanish or something. If that is the case then I am quite confident he didnt change numbers. And I fully agree with SmoothShredder, the only difference is that I am expecting to see him in a Raiders uniform at some point in his career.Al Davis loves these type of idiot. Booche
I feel it boys. Let's all have a great year. I sure am happy no one in here is a fan of an AFC West team. I hate all those fuckers.Good luck to SmoothShredder's Packers, Badam's Dolphins, Whitey's Lions, DaveO and NorthernWish's Bills and Ollie's Bandwagonners. And once the Raiders return with a REAL commitment to excellence, I'll get back to my trash-talkin' ways. SmoothedShredder
You never know in the NFL... Maybe the Raiders did something right in the draft...I'll be watching the Jets this year I guess as well... don't want to see Favre fail per se... I just hope as far as the Packers are concerned, they made the right decision. Good luck guys!
Booche
The Raiders have too many problems on both sides of the line to do anything of substance. My guess is 6-10 is the best to shoot for, 8-8 being their Super Bowl.I almost drafted Favre in the 4th round in my main keeper league, planning to trade him for draft picks in the next couple of seasons if he was doing well, but he was gone when that pick came to me. SmoothedShredder
I still can't believe the Giants won the superbowl. Being a wild card, and winning all on the road, and defeating an 18-0 team in the final minutes... that's pretty much the best story line outside of 19-0, with a million td passes, ala Joe Montana's for the Sega Genesis.
