Northern Wish
I don't know how much you love it, but is it possible I dig it more than you? It is utterly fantastic, one of the most overlooked pieces of music since maybe the 80's?! There is something about the voice, the production qualities and the whole package that places it firmly on my desert island discs list. Infact I am going to go throw it on to remind myself how much I love it, thanks! Good on ya Jakis for reminding me! S
NewRider
Jeff Mangum is a genius. I love this album so fucking much. One of my all time favorites.
scottieking
This enters the mix about once every six months. Rock Plaza Central would have no career but for this sound.
Tenenbaum
the album before, On Avery Island, ain't too shabby either!
dave-O
Overlooked? It's a great album but if anything, it's overrated. It's a lock on EVERY hipster's essential albums list.
Northern Wish
I meant by mainstream media etc. Everyone isn't a hipster like you.......... I found it from an interview Trey did once, I had never read anything about it before that. Sure Pitchfork loves it off, but its Soundscan #'s are weak at best........
